Christmas With Spinel

A Christmas special I've always wanted to do, even though this story isn't officially a story (nobody gave me their answers on it, so I guess nobody wants it, which is fine). 

Synopsis: Spinel forces Steven and Obsidian to play her games in order to save the hostages she captured before midnight. 

3rd Person P.O.V.

Today is Christmas Eve on Earth, but Homeworld celebrates Christmas as well, since it's a thing humans do on Earth. Inside the rehabilitation center is where some of the patients are singing Jingle Bells as part of caroling, since there's nothing better to do in the facility except for therapy sessions. A group of gems are singing the song.

"Jingle bells, jingle bells! Jingle all the way! Oh, what fun is it to ride in a one horse open sleigh hey!" The patients sang correctly while holding the papers that contain the lyrics to the song. 

A peculiar pink patient was holding her lyrics paper upside down. Then she moved the paper down to reveal her face.

"Jingle bells, Steven smells! Obsidian laid an egg!" Spinel said with an evil smile while showcasing the vindictiveness of her tone for the two. "The Dondai lost a wheel, and Spinel got away!"

Spinel took a tree-topper from a patient and used it to climb the ladder up the Christmas tree that was erected in the facility, a gift from Steven Universe. Suddenly, the bottom of the Christmas tree began to light fire from underneath it and Spinel took the tree-topper and put it on her head, kicking the ladder down so nobody could climb up with her. The tree then began to fly, like a rocket, and it crashed through the skylight, taking Spinel away. 

"Crashing through the roof in a one horse open tree!" Spinel continued. "Busting out I go, laughing all the whee~! HA HA HA HA HA~!" 

The Palace:

"Come on, Steven, it's Christmas Eve." White Diamond said, trying to stop Steven from worrying. "Let's kick back and get into the spirit."

"Spinel's escaped from the rehabilitation center, White." Steven replied with a sigh. 

"And you really think she's going to make her move right away? On Christmas Eve?" White Diamond asked. "Even scum spend the holidays with their families and/or friends."

"Spinel has no friends or family." Steven bluntly said, reminding White Diamond that Spinel spends her holidays alone. 

"Okay, I'll make a deal with you." White Diamond said, trying to get him to cooperate. "If we go out on patrol and Homeworld is quiet with no sign of Spinel, we come back here, have Christmas dinner with your family on Earth, and watch It's A Wonderful Life." 

White Diamond just finished putting her costume on and got in Steven's car in the passenger seat while Steven started the car.

"You know, I've never seen that." Steven admits. "I could never get past the title." 

"It's a deal, then?" Obsidian asked.

"Deal." Steven replied. 

And he drives off into the streets of Homeworld. Both of them drove around the buildings, keeping their eyes peeled for danger or Spinel. Eventually they left the car parked and ventured on the rooftops. 

Steven and Obsidian looked down at the happy gems going on with their day, not letting the dark sky or snow bother them. Obsidian smiles in content, happy to see everyone else happy. However, she looked disappointed when she saw that Steven wasn't finding any satisfaction or happiness when he saw the happy gems, he only cared about finding Spinel.
