I sat there in the Cullens living room and listened to them all try to figure out just what had happened.

"why did we loose our ablitity to hear?" Rosa asked

"what made them clench their heads then drop dead?" Alice asked

"how did we get our ability to hear back after they dropped dead?" Emmett asked

I looked at them all before I looked at Edward.

he looked like he trying to read my mind but with this I had blocked him.

"I've never heard of this before" Carlisle says

"is this ever gonna happen again?" Esme asked

"its unheard of" Jasper says

"not really" Eddy says

"what do you mean not really. you was there" Rosa says

I stood up 

"I can answer all your questions." I say

"how sweetheart?" Esme asked

"please everyone sit and allow me to tell you" I say

they all took a seat while I stood before them.

"is this got to do with how you beat Edward in running?" Emmett asked

"some" I say

that just got them more confused.

Edward is the only one to know what I am but he didn't know what I could do so this was new for him.

"I am not a human, I am a banshee. we have a real powerful scream that makes your head feel as if it will explode. we are very rare and we've kept under radar not wanting to be used as test dummies or experiments for the human race. we've fought greatly to keep quiet. and we've established a rule that no one can know what we are but our mates. and of course with that a grand majority of the time the mate will have family and they are the exception since they will be around the Banshee." I say

"badass" Emmett says which made Rosa slap him

"the reason you couldn't hear is I took your ability away to protect you while I caused serious damage and death to the three that was about to attack me." I tell them

"thank you" Esme says

"yes thank you" Jasper and Carlisle says

"welcome" I replied

"how old are you?" Alice asked

"over hundred years old though I look to be eighteen years old" I say

"wow" she says

"there is a great chance this will happen again" I say

"meaning?" Emmet asked

"if something happens and I need to protect my mate and his family I will take your hearing from you and destroy those who dare to harm my mate. and I don't care if he's capable of protecting himself or if you all are. with Edward being my mate I care greatly for you despite some having issues with me" I say

" I don't believe you" Rosa says

"look I could prove it to you but sadly Edward rather have you uninjured and you mean something to him as well as the others" I say

"that's why you warned Rosa not to attack you when we first met" Emmett stated

"Exactly. us Banshees when we fight we fight to kill and we don't quiet till our opponent is dead" I say

"I thought you all went extinct," Carlisle says

"We made it seem like we had so that we would be under the radar for our protection," I tell him

"so now what?"Esme asked

"I enjoy my life with my mate. I protect those who mean the most to him like you all. my true identity is not to be shared" I say

"so similar to us?" Alice asked

"yeah" I replied

they all sat there not saying anything just took everything I had shared with them in.

I looked at Edward and he smiled before getting up and approaching me.

"what do you eat?" Emmett asked

"well I can eat human food, and drink blood," I say

"human?" Esme asked

"that's only when I use my ability," I say

"so you kill innocent people," Rosa says

my fist clenched on Edward's jersey sleeves.

"I don't kill innocent people I kill bad people." I replied 

"how do you know what they are?" she asked

"enough Rosa." Carlisle says

 she scuffed and walked off.

"I'm sorry bout her" Emmett says

"not your place to apologize for her," I say

he nodded before walking off while the others leave Edward and I alone.

"I am sorry for the dram and everything she has been staring with you" Eddy says

"its not your place to apologize like I had told Emmett" i say

"I don't like you being like this" he says

"wanna head to my place so I can calm down before I forget about it all and then do something you'd hate me for?" I asked

He nodded before he took my hand and lead me outside to his car.

We headed to my place and sat on the couch he did different things to distract my mind.
