In this paragraph, I will talk about innovations. According to research, it says"In Haiti, small windows regularly spaced openings create fewer weak spots in walls." During an earthquake, it causes lots of damage and weak spots so, in Haiti they buy small windows to prevent less damage during an earthquake, this is an example of an innovation. Furthermore, also in Peru, they use something called plastic mesh and they put in under houses which prevents the house less likely to fall during an earthquake. During an earthquake, you may have time time to escape and plastic mesh will help do that and prevent people from dying from collapsing walls . In Addition, it says" Lightweight structures subject to smaller forces and are less likely to fall when the ground shakes." This is a way we can prevent earthquakes and lots of damage during this natural disaster. In conclusion, this is how innovations are 1 out of the 3 ways to prevent earthquakes.
