In this paragraph, I will talk about an another way to prevent earthquakes and it is safe houses u know why houses become destroyed after earthquakes it is because or houses are not safe enough . Concrete walls are reinforced with steel which prevents the house from falling down. This shows how if are homes are safe we can be protected by concrete walls used in the piece of evidence. Also, for example" But in less developed countries like Haiti, where a powerful quake in January killed some 222,500 people and left millions homeless." This shows that if your house is not safe you have a chance of being killed or even homeless. In Addition ,it says" When a magnitude of 8.8 hit Chile strict building codes were credited for saving lots of lives."This shows since in Chile they had safe home and that saved thousands of live and homes.
