It's been 2 years since Yuuri went to earth. 2years since he failed to use his powers and return to shin makoku. 2 years since he saw his kingdom, 2 years since he saw his people, and 2 years since he saw his special blonde.
Yuuri never wanted to admit it, but he was quite attracted to the blonde... Maybe more than in an admirable way.
He missed his pestering, company, yelling, attitude, those rare occasions when he made or caught him blushing,calling him a cheater and as much as he didn't want to admit it, also being called a wimp.

Yuuri: hmm☺️ I bet he wouldn't call me a wimp when he sees me now.

Most of all, yuuri missed his little baby girl, Greta.

Yuuri :I wonder if I'll still call her my baby
(starts to think on how much she might have grown, given, if his calculations are correct, 8 years have passed in shin makoku. But what really raised and brought his hair to a standstill was thinking if she had a lover by now, or God forbid, she might have gotten married..... No.. no.. wolf would never allow it.... Yeah he would never...)

Yuuri:*sighs* I miss shin makoku... If I could go back, I would be a better king with or without the maoh's help.... Maybe even finally finish the things I started.... (Referring to his and Wolfram's engagement) *blushes a bit*(soft smile) yeah.. I definitely would....

Yuuri somehow found himself in a dark but somehow relaxing room. There he saw a silhouette of himself but a bit taller, longer hair, and instead of the silhouette being dark or black, it was white and had a powerful somewhat dominant aura, and also seemed to glow white. He, was what yuuri assumed, a man.

Yuuri:who are you? And what no where is this place?

??: have a lucky guess young heika.

Yuuri: young heika....? But only- *gasps and realizes* former maou? (Gets on one knee and bows) it's been so long.

F. M: get up heika. And yes it has. All was for a purpose.

Before yuuri could ask for what purpose, the maou beat him to speak.

F. M: to answer your second previous question, we are in the pact void.

Yuuri:pact what

F. M:this is a place where we would have to become one through an agreement.

Yuuri noted that he used and emphasized 'would' instead of 'will'. And that he emphasized 'agreement.'

F. M: (💭he has matured and become reasonable)

Yuuri: *becomes serious* you used the words 'would' instead of 'will' and 'agreement'. Please elaborate.

F. M: hahaha ~! A few minutes ago,when the great sage told me you had become more mature, he sure wasn't lying .

Yuuri:hey! Wait. You said great sage. How could you communicate with Murata. I thought you could only talk to me.

F. M: as said earlier, all was for a purpose .

Yuuri: And what even is this purpose that kept me away from my kingdom and everyone in shin makoku!

F. M: calm yourself young heika. Anger will do you no good. Let me explain all I can. Will you let me?

As much as yuuri wanted to continue yelling, he had to listen. Maybe it was also a way to get back to shin makoku.

Yuuri: go ahead.*he lifted himself from the seemingly black ground to a standing position* I'm listening.

F. M: to start off, I used 'would' because you are not the only demon king who became one with the previous maou and I am very sure you won't be the last. To be honest, I am quite impressed. You see, in the previous demon kings, the bonding usually occured when they were in their early thirties, but you... You're not yet even in your twenties.

Yuuri:💢 no you absolutely didn't 🙂. Anyway, now that you cleared that up, what was the 'pact' thing about?

F. M: *smiles* yes. This is an agreement between you and me. We are to bond as one. In this way, you will control your own powers more than you have over the years to which I am very impressed.

Yuuri: *timid* haha it was all thanks to Murata I guess.

F. M: not entirely.

Yuuri:huh?

F. M: it was also you. And your determination to become stronger so that one day you may go to shin makoku and finally impress a certain blonde fiancé.

Yuuri did as he was told. And the maou closed his eyes and started chanting things that yuuri couldn't quite understand. But during the chant, yuuri noted that his body felt warmer and relaxed. If he didn't know any better he wouldn't have noticed that his chest was glowing a beautiful blue.

F. M: *stops chanting and opens eyes with a shocked expression* i-impossible....

Yuuri: what's wrong? Did it not work?

The former maou looks at yuuri before smiling and says,

F. M: you are a very lucky boy. Maybe the luckiest and blessed I've, no, we've seen in all our generations.

Yuuri: what...?what do you mean?

F. M: *smiles* that's something that you'll find out by yourself.

Yuuri:....?

F. M: yuuri? I now need you to make a decision. This will not be forced upon you. Do you wish to become one with us and gain the knowledge, and power from the previous maous , or wish to continue your journey of strength . ALONE.

Yuuri:.......... I... I..

F. M: don't worry. Anything you choose we won't judge, neither will we force you.

Yuuri:*takes a deep breath and look of determination* I do. I choose to become one with the previous maous.

F. M: *nods* it is done.

The last thing yuuri remembered was the small approving smile the maou gave him while saying 'good luck. I know you'll make it. ' And finally a bright blue light. Then darkness.
