                   "Arina! Your friends are here!" my mom shouted from the bottom of the stairs. "Oh my god finally." I thought to myself. I've been waiting for them to get here for thirty minutes. "Tell them to come up!" I yelled back. I heard footsteps coming up the steps. It sort of sounded like a stampede. I heard three rapid knocks at my door. "Come in!" I shouted, making sure they all heard me. " Hey Ari!" Kaleb said, walking inside my room. He sat on my blue bean bag in the corner of my room. "Arina!! I missed you so much!" Sofie said, coming to hug me. I hugged her back. She sat down on my bed. "Hey Arina! How have you been?" Manuel said. He sat on my hammock chair I had hanging from my ceiling.

         "Hey everyone! I'm good, I'm good." I said. I looked around the room. "Where's Ashlyn?" I asked. "Oh, She's with her boyfriend. She said she'll be here at seven." Kaleb said. I nodded in disbelief. Ever since she started dating Cameron, she barely hangs out with us anymore. "What's wrong Ari?" Sofie asked. "It's just that ever since Ashlyn got a boyfriend, She hardly ever hangs out with us anymore." Manuel came over and sat next to me. He put his arm around my shoulder and said "She's just a dimwit." Don't worry about her."

        "Hey! Don't talk about Ashlyn like that!" Kaleb said. "Oh shut up Kaleb!" We all said in unison. We laughed with each other for hours and hours. "I'm kinda bored." Sofie said. "Yeah, me too." Manuel said. "We should totally go to 7/11 and just blow all of our money!!"Kaleb said. We all grabbed our wallets and we went downstairs. My dad was home. "Hi Daddy!" I said as I walked towards him and hugged him. "Hello dear." He replied. He looked up from his laptop and pulled his reading glasses down a bit. He looked at the boys first. "Hello boys. I suggest that you are going to keep my little girl safe and little Sofie as well?" He asked the boys. They looked at each other in utter silence.

         "Yes sir. We will." Manuel said. "Ahh, that's what I thought." My father spoke. "And how are you Sofie?" He spoke again. "I'm good, Mr. Devon," She answered. "Perfect. Do you kids need any money? Where are you headed?" Father asked. "Uhm yes please daddy. 7/11." I replied.

          My father always makes sure I have everything I need. Ever since I was a little girl he has always offered me money when I went somewhere. I always took advantage of it whenever he asked. My father spoils me rotten while my mother believes I should have some discipline in my life.

         Father obviously doesn't agree with her. He says "a princess should never have to ask for anything she needs or wants." He doesn't spoil my older brother or my little brother as much as me but he still gets them stuff. My older brother, Javi, got V.I.P concert tickets for him and his girlfriend to go see Drake for his birthday last week and $200. My little brother, Justin ,got a PS5 and $250 for his last birthday. On my last birthday, I got my hair, nails, toes, and eyebrows done and I went to California with my friends for a week with $150. Of course I took Kaleb, Manuel, Sofie, and Ashlyn.

       We've been best friends since third grade. When Ms. Giselle put us all at the same table. Except me and Ashlyn have been friends since first grade. We have been inseparable since. Lately, she doesn't really talk to me as much. She started going out with Cameron Diaz. He's a total nut-job honestly. I'm fine that she's dating someone, it's just Cameron is a perv. He's always looking at Sofie. Kaleb told me that he heard Cameron and his group of friends talking about how Sofie had the cutest face ever and how her butt was super big. I told Sofie about it. I feel like she had a right to know what those boys were saying about her.

       Sofie stopped wearing skirts and dresses after that. I tried to tell Ashlyn but she said that Cameron was madly in love with her and that he would never do that. I wish she would've listened to me. Cameron has also tried to get me too. I was walking into math class when he came up to me and said "Hey, Pretty face." I told him to go away but he wouldn't so I just walked away. Then he got ahold of my Snapchat account and he added me. I didn't know who it was so I added him back. He texted me.

Hey, Pretty face.

I'm sorry?

No ur dating Ashlyn.

     I blocked him after that. I didn't tell Ashlyn because she would think that I was just trying to ruin her relationship again.
