I've never seen such a beautiful face before.

It was like the whole world was spinning around me as I glanced at the midnight haired boy sitting beside me.

Akaashi Keiji.

Second year and setter of the volleyball team.

Not wanting to waste the opportunity, my hands shuffled through the books and half-assed assignments in my bag placed beside the desk I was sitting at. I finally felt the small coiled drawing book that had everything I thought was worthy of my time to draw.

Quickly flipping through all the rough and unfinished sketches,  a blank page was staring right back at me. Picking up the pencil that was in my hand earlier, I began sketching a small circle to  begin by process of drawing the gorgeous boy sitting beside me.

I took my time with this sketch, not really knowing why. With each stroke and glide of the pencil in my hand, it felt as if the boy was the one staring back at me instead of the once blank piece of paper. The more my pencil touched the paper, the more the sketch came to life.

Wanting to make sure I captured the boy's beauty, I quickly glanced beside me but to my luck, the bell had rung signalling it was lunchtime and that the boy had already gotten up and left before I could take one last look.

'Damn..'

It was finally the end of the school day.

I was drained.

I never got another chance to look at Akaashi as the teachers swamped us with piles of calculus and chemistry work. There was no opportunity to draw him again as he was always looking away whenever I glanced or that I was too busy struggling to find x. Who even thought it was a good idea to introduce letters into math?

Being way to into my thoughts, I didn't even take notice that my feet guided me to the gym where you could hear the squeaks  of shoes and sounds of volleyballs hitting the floor.

"Oh, how did I end up here?" quietly mumbling to no one in particular.

Peeking through the door, I noticed that quite a few people were watching the boys play against an unfamiliar team. Mostly girls who would whisper whenever one of the players did the bare minimum.

'Must be a practice match..' It wouldn't hurt to sit and watch the game for a few minutes before going home right?

Quietly entering the gym, I found a place to observe the game from, away from the noisiness of the other bystanders. My eyes quickly found the pretty setter and I took this chance to draw him once again.

'Even playing volleyball, he's still gorgeous ..

Taking my sketchbook out from my bag, I flipped to another empty page in the book and quickly, but carefully, sketched the boy whilst he was playing.

By the time the first set had ended, multiple sketches of the setter was present in my sketchbook. Putting the final touches and fixing up the final sketch, I decided that it was time to leave as there was a pile of homework waiting for me in my bag. Screw school.

Packing everything away, I made my way out of the gym and walked the path that would take me home.

Once again, way too into my thoughts, I didn't notice that a pair of eyes followed me out of the gym or that my beloved sketchbook had fallen out of my bag.

"What are you looking at Akaashi"

"Nothing in Particular Bokuto-San."
