Akaashi's POV

"I will wait for you outside Bokuto-san" I said to the still energetic male as I walked towards the exit of the gym hearing a faint but loud "Okay!!" in the process.

The closer I came towards the exit, a small book caught my eye. Wondering what it was,  I picked up the pace and bent down to pick up said book - no sketchbook - now taking a closer look at it. Glancing at the front and back, there was no indication of who it belonged to, the only clue was a small heart shaped sticker placed beside the words sketchbook on the front.

'Maybe there's a name on the inside? ' I opened the cover of the sketchbook and to my luck, no name or any hint as to who the owner was. I felt my eyes travel to the right side of the page and was completely entranced at the beautiful sketch that occupied the page.

"Whoever this belonged to must be panicking right now.." I quietly said to myself as I continued admiring the drawing. I knew it was wrong as it was invading someone's property but I continued flipping through the sketchbook, making sure to properly admire each and every drawing that I came across.

Almost suddenly, a warm sensation enveloped my face. The page that I had flipped to contained a clear portrait of me in class, not paying attention. It was so life like that it felt like a photo. I felt a flutter in my stomach begin to form as never in my life had I had someone take the time to admire me enough to choose me as a muse, especially for an art piece.

Every page after that was just more sketches of me and I'm sure my face was darker than the colour of Maroon right now. The longer I look at each drawing of me, the stronger the flutter became and the quicker my heart started beating.

'Calm yourself Keiji.' Closing the sketchbook and with every deep breathe that I took, the beating of my heart died down and the flutter went away as quick as it had appeared.

"HEY HEY HEY! What's the matter with you Akaashi?" a booming voice said right beside my ear as I felt a smack on my back.

"Nothing's the matter with me Bokuto-san" I let out a breathe as I began walking with the spiky haired male towards the subway.

"There's definitely something wrong" the spiky haired mail continued as he put his hands on the back of his head.

"If there wasn't anything wrong, your face wouldn't be as bright and red as a tomato right now" He snickered at me

"It's just cold out here, that's why my face is red " thats the best you could come up with Keiji? It's cold? Bokuto would never believe that.

"Your right! I was wondering why I suddenly got a shiver!" He quickly put on the jacket of our uniform "By the way, what's that in your hand Akaashi? " Panic. That's all that I felt as Bokuto asked me this question.

"Its nothing, just found it left at the gym." keep it cool "I'm going to try and find the owner of it tomorrow during school hopefully"

I was hoping this blunt excuse would work as I would not enjoy Bokuto finding out about someone's admiration towards me and him going on to tell our teammates and possibly the whole school about it. I do not want to deal with Konoha-san teasing me about this. I would also feel so bad for whoever this belongs too as they probably did not want everyone knowing about their little crush on me.

'Stop assuming it's a crush' shaking the idea out of my head I turned towards the energetic male walking next to me.

"Well good luck on that! Let me know if you need my super awesome detective skills if you get stumped!! " Bokuto said as he started flexing his arms.

'Thank god.' a sigh of relief came out of my mouth as he said that, I was preparing for him to continue asking questions

We continued on conversing over the practice match we had and never was the sketchbook brought up again after that.

How am I gonna return this without any knowledge as to who it belongs to.
