''Tetsuya!'' Akashi caught him just in time before he would have hit the ground.

That was the last thing the blue-haired boy remembered before everything went black.

Akashi picked the former sixth man up and asked Murasakibara to carry him downstairs he himself could have a little talk with Kuroko's father in private, Akashi was anything but happy. The red-haired teenager expected Kuroko to be in bad shade but not so bad that he barely could stand. When he ordered the rest of the GoM away, he walked to the room where Kei fled to and knocked on the door ''Sir, It's Akashi Seijuro. I'd like to speak with you for a moment.'' He tried to be as polite as he could be for the state that he was in.

A soft 'Come in' was heard and Akashi opened the door, viewing the room for a few seconds before stepping inside where the older man was. Kei was sitting on a two-person sized bed and was holding a picture of his deceased wife in his hands. The red-head sighed and sat down next to him after shutting the door.

''He loved her very much..'' Akashi looked at the man, who was staring right back at him. ''I can see that but still the shape that Tetsuya is in now is unacceptable, Kei. You have neglected your own son when he needed you the most. You are nowhere near ready to be a father although i doubt that you ever were. Why did you leave him alone in the dark in his time of need? is he not important to you, Kei?'' Akashi asked, his tone sharp and unforgiving, not caring if it hurt the latter.

''I-I..You have no idea what you're talking about..'' was the answer that he got back ''I do..I know it all too well, you see. I lost my own mother to and my father then turned into a bitter, power obsessed man that wouldn't even look at me unless I did something wrong. On her burial I was not allowed to cry because I needed to be a man. Then after a few months he removed all pictures of her like she never existed. I never once got the comfort of my father to get me though my mourning and i hoped that Tetsuya didn't have to go through that as well but he did because of you.''

The older Kuroko listened to the teens story, not once interrupting. He even noticed that tears started to form in the younger Akashi's eyes. ''I-I..really care for him you know..He saved me in Middle School and I now want to do the same for him.'' ''I understand Seijuro-kun. It all happened so fast that i just didn't know what to do, she was gone and it was like Tetsuya just left with her. He would not eat, drink or sleep, only cry. Eventually I gave up on him which was a mistake on my part, i know that.'' Akashi bit his lip and slapped him in the face ''You never give up on your own children! Never!'' The red-haired captain stood up ''I'll call if Tetsuya wants to see you again, if he doesn't, don't expect to see him back anytime soon.''

As Akashi left, he left a shocked Kei behind who finally was able to see his mistakes for the first time.

The GoM were waiting outside the house by the black car with Murasakibara and Kuroko already inside. Midorima noticed that Akashi's eyes with a little swollen and looked irritated ''Are you alright, Akashi?'' ''Just peachy'' was the reply he got before they were told to get inside the vehicle. Kise looked outside ''Ne Akashicchi, what will we do now? I mean how will we help Kurokocchi?'' ''I don't know yet, Ryouta. But we'll save him.'' Akashi said with an unusual gentle voice which made the rest a little worried but didn't say anything.

When they finally arrived at the Akashi estate, in Kyoto. It was about 6 pm in the evening and Kuroko was still asleep. They got inside the mansion without saying a word and Akashi just pointed to the couch where Murasakibara could lay the teenager down who laid in his arms. When the purple-haired boy did that, everyone went to the dining room to discuss on how they were going to handle things.

Aomine was the first to speak ''Maybe just act normal and wait for him to talk about it at his own pace?'' No one thought that that was a bad a idea but they also wanted some back-ups. ''How about we all tell things about ourselves in the form of a game? then maybe he won't feel so bad.'' was what Kise suggested. Both of them seemed to be using their brain for this and it made Akashi feel a little proud not that he would ever admit it though.

After they set up their plan, everyone got to bed since they were quite tired even if it was not that late. Kuroko was moved to Akashi's room but on a separate bed on the opposite side of the room. Murasakibara and Midorima shared a room and Aomine and Kise did the same.

It was not long before they were all dozing off slowly, making only soft breathing noises and some ruffling sounds if they moved in their sleep.

Then in the middle of the night Kuroko woke up from a nightmare and had screamed a skin-piercing scream

 ''MOM DON'T LEAVE!''
