"Chill, nag mall sila Xia, 'di ba?"

"And Xian??"

He sighed, "He's upstairs, hide him if you want to,"

My children doesn't deserve to be hidden. I'm not planning to hide them, It's just too sudden. I feel like my heart would suddenly go out of my ribcage.

"Mommy! Someone's ringing the doorbell!" He shouted from upstairs.

"Will you let him in or not?" I sighed and nodded. Kuya Ave went to the garage and opened the gate for him.

"Xi–" I was about to call my son when Maven suddenly went in with Kuya Ave.

"I know that I said that I'll tell him soon, but 'this soon'?" I sighed.

"Ano na?" Bored na sabi ni Kuya.

Ayaw pang umupo ni Maven nung una but sinenyasan ko siyang maupo so umupo siya sa couch.

"Is it something serious?"

"Akyat muna 'ko," He gestured na he'll go upstairs. "Puntahan ko lang si Xian,"

I nodded in response but I saw how Maven became curious. "Who's Xian?" He asked when Kuya already went upstairs. "Your Husband...?"

"Husband ampota," I laughed. "Pero kung magka-age kami ni Xian, why not, 'di ba? Ang pogi kaya ni Xian."

"What..?" Lalo siyang naguluhan. Ako naman, tinatawanan lang siya.

"Anak ko," I gulped.

"You're Married...?" He asked, while looking at the floor.

I cleared my throat, "A-anak mo..."

"Pardon?"
His brows furrowed.

I sighed, "Ang tanga mo naman eh. Anak ko, anak mo, edi anak natin. Anong kabobohan 'to, Maverick??"

"We really have a child..?" He unsurely asked me.

"We have twins," I corrected him.

"Like... for real? Wow," He went closer to me and held my face.

"Mukha ba 'kong nakikipag gaguhan dito, Maverick? Hmm?" I raised my brows, losing my patience.

"So... you're not in a relationship with anyone?"

"Sabi ko, may anak tayo, tapos 'yan lang reaction mo? Gago ka ba?" I asked.

"Actually, alam ko nang may anak tayo, last month pa..." He gulped.

"Sinabi ni Kuya Ave?"

"No... he didn't tell me anything,"

"Then??"
My brows furrowed more.

Huh? Alam niya daw...? Last month pa? Eh, halos kakauwi lang namin sa Pinas? Anong shabu 'yong nahithit nito?

"There goes my little Ace," he smiled and stood up when he saw Xian going downstairs.

"So your name is Xian, huh?"

"Hey, Ahjussi," he wrapped his small arms onto his Dad's neck. "It's nice to meet you, again."

"He told me,"
he kissed Xian's forehead.

"What's happening here, Zaverick?"

"Mom, let me explain. Are y-you mad at m-me...?"

"I'm not mad at you, baby. Please explain, what's happening? Hmm?"

"What's wrong with it? I'm your fiancee," he shrugged.

"Ex,"

"We never broke up," he argued.

"I figured it out, Mom." He whispered seriously. "Why you left 'him', why you're taking those, and why we're back here."

I licked my lower lip, I opened my mouth but nothing was coming out. After a long silence, I was able to talk. "How d-did you k-know?"

"I was curious, and my curiosity led me to misery..."

"What are you guys talking about?"

"Mom's sick,"

"I was," I corrected him. "It was cured,"

"But it came back," he whispered with so much pain. Just enough for the three of us to hear.

"Baby... I—" he suddenly hugged me.

"Mom, please don't leave me. Please don't leave us,"
he started to cry.

"I know you will!!" He shouted, with tears in his eyes. "That's why we went back here and that's why you went to Dad..."

"You're still sick??"
I saw how the glasses shattered in front of me.

"You guys knew... b-but you didn't tell m-me?" I saw pain in his eyes. "You'll leave us..?"

"Fine! I'm sick! And I'm dying!!"
I started to cry. "But that doesn't mean that I want to leave..." my voice broke.
