Kuya Ave couldn't stop laughing.

"Tito, why are you laughing by yourself po? Are you crazy po?" Xia asked and Kuya Ave stopped laughing. That's when I started to laugh at him.

"Your Mom's crazier, don't you think?"

"Heh, I'm not kaya," I rolled my eyes. "'Di ba, baby?" My daughter didn't answer my question and went upstairs.

"Tignan mo? Pati anak mo, nag a-agree," Umiiling na sabi ng epal na kapatid ng ex ko.

"Hello, 'Ma, Oo, pauwi–" I stuffed his mouth with a large amount of bread when he started to mock me.

Kasalanan ni Kuya Ave 'to eh.

Putangina, nakakahiya.

"He's with me?"

"Yeah, can't you see we're together?"

I rolled my eyes and pinched him. "Aw! Sadista ka, ah?"

"Look, she pinched me!" Reklamo niya sa kapatid niya.

"And so..?" Maven asked.

"What do you mean 'and so?'?? I'm your brother??"

"And she's my fiancee," he looked at me.

"Ex-fiancee," I corrected him. He didn't answer and just looked at his brother.

"I thought you were in Canada?"

"Nandito na nga ako eh, paano pang nasa Canada ako?"

"Kuya, I'm asking you politely." He sighed.

"Sinagot ko naman 'yong tanong mo, ah?"

Hayssst, minsan talaga, may pagka siraulo 'tong si Kuya Ave. Minsan, madalas.

"I mean, I thought you'll live there for good?"

"Umuwi na sila eh, syempre sasama ako." He looked at me and shrugged.

"Sila...?" I gulped and my heart started to race.

"Yeah, I came home with my parents,"

He raised his brows and looked like he had something to say but he didn't say anything.

"Hindi ba kayo mag uusap? Na-bbored na 'ko, ang awkward," Both of sighed nung nagreklamo na si Kuya.

"Long time no see," Inabot niya 'yong kamay niya, para makipag shake hands.

Tatanggapin ko ba? I mean, ang awkward kasi nung shake hands?

I sighed, I took his hand. "Long time no see."

"Ang bagal niyo naman,"

"Wala ka kasing love life, kaya bitter ka." My mouth formed an 'o' when I heard his response.

"Actually, he has one pero—" I wasn't able to finish my sentence when he covered my mouth with his hand. "Kapag ikaw nag spill, mag-sspill din ako. Para fair, ano?"
