Altered

Chapter One: Leandra

I was just sitting near the fireplace when I hear my father call me.

"Leandra, your stepfather is here for you", he yelled. I stood and walked towards the kitchen. Do I really have to leave already,   I thought. The summer went by so fast. I want to stay with my father a little longer, not go with my stupid stepfather.

I entered the kitchen and smiled at my father, Sirius Black. He's so awesome, but I can't stay with him because he's an outlaw, besides, my stepfather is my legal guardian.

That's when I turn to see him and frown. Severus Snape, my stepfather. He is so mean and grumpy all the time. He treats me like I'm a piece of trash. And that's not the worst part, his face is so hideous. Seriously, his face creeps me out. I can't stand looking at it.

I turn to look at his daughter, my stepsister/half sister, Emmeranne Snape. I like her, she's nice (to me least) and I find her pessimistic ways funny.

Suddenly, my brothers, Fred and George Weasley, walk in.

"Hi everbody, why is everyone so depressed ", Fred asks

"Snape is here", I say. "I wish I could kill him".

"Everybody wants to do that", Sirius says.

I notice that Snape was still in the room, but I got lucky. He was busy talking to Emmeranne. How could she stand him! Or his face. I conclude that they get along because they are so similar. Not only personality-wise, but physically too. Well, sort of. Emmeranne has shoulder-length, messy black hair and black eyes and her eyebrows are only a little thin. She wore black and gray all the time too. The only differences were that she was really pale and she wasn't ugly.  She wasn't beautiful though. Emmeranne was in the middle.

She saw me from the corner of her eye and made an angry face. I bet she heard what I said about killing Snape. Emmeranne hated it when people talked bad about him. She's so weird.

"Come on, let's go morons", Snape said. He turns to the door without saying anything to my dad.

"Can we Apparate",  George asked

"No", Snape answered

"Damn it"

"What was that!?"

"Goodbye dad", I said as I sighed. I walked out the door.

"Okay", Snape said once everyone was outside. "You all have to walk home while I Apparate. Goodbye idiots ". Then he disappeared with a pop.

"Alright gang, looks like we'll have to start walking ", George said.

Then Snape appeared again.

"I forgot someone ", he said.

I looked so hopeful.

"Emmeranne let's go", Snape said as he grabbed Emmeranne's arm and they left with a pop!

I cursed really loudly. I knew he wasn't going to take me.

I kick a random rock. It sparkled. "It's a Portkey!" I gasp.

"Cool, let's go!", Fred said

And then off we went. Then we bumped into Kora Riddle.
