Louis leaned in and whispered something in Harry's ear. Harry ignored the chills he got and nodded his head before he grabbed the pen. They were all sitting around writing rhymes for the gifts they bought. Since Louis' dominant hand was attached to Harry they had decided that they would work together. Harry wrote and they tried to come up with suitable rhymes for each present.

"How about:
I see it as my duty
to enhance your beauty
Here's some bling
It's not a diamond ring"
Louis suggested as a rhyme for his mother.

Harry giggled.
"Your duty?"

"Well, what else rhymes with beauty?" Louis questioned.

Harry thought about a rhyme.
"How about:
The best mum title you behold
Here's something in gold"

"Yeah, I like it!" Louis smiled. It grew wider.
"How about
Due to the handcuff around my wrist
I want to give you a gift
For being our Christmas host
When Niall clearly is having a psychosis"

Harry burst out laughing.
"That is a great rhyme. We'll keep it!"

They listened to some of the rhymes that Louis' sisters had come up with and they were all giggling and having fun. Harry noticed that the dishwasher was ready.
"Come on. It's our time to be useful." He said and got up.

Louis didn't protest. They started to unload the dishwasher together. Lottie and Fizzy we're watching them.
"Interesting. Remember a couple of days ago? They were bumping into each other all the time but now they work together perfectly synchronized." Lottie said.

"Yeah, I get what you mean. They're totally synced." Fizzy agreed.

"And in their own little world. I've always wondered about those two." Lottie said quietly.

"Me too! We know Louis is fruity, what about Harry?" Fizzy said.

"I guess we'll find out eventually. Maybe we should help them get there?" Lottie suggested.

"What do you have in mind?" Fizzy wondered.

Lottie smirked and whispered something in Fizzy's ear.
"Hey, what are you two whispering about?" Louis asked as he and Harry approached the table.

"Nothing." Fizzy immediately replied and they both sat up straight.

"Don't give me that innocent look. You're up to no good. I can tell." Louis said and pointed his finger between them.

"We're just talking about boys." Lottie replied. Technically true.

"Trouble. I knew it." Louis proclaimed.

Harry on the other hand was excited. He took a seat next to Lottie.
"Boys? I wanna hear about boys."

Lottie looked at Fizzy and then they started to tell him about boys to cover up what they had really been talking about. Louis didn't say much. His sisters were growing up and he wasn't around much. He made a silent promise to call them more often while he was on tour.

Jay came home and Harry offered to make dinner, which meant that Louis had to make dinner as well.
"Don't let Louis touch anything." Jay laughed.

"Mum!" Louis protested.

"I'm sorry sweetie, you know I love you but we're all hungry and I guess you haven't learned how to cook just yet?" Jay smiled.

"He hasn't." Harry teased.

Louis just shrugged his shoulders. Harry decided to make chicken fajitas. He did all the chopping while Louis fried the chicken under supervision. There were a lot of giggles in-between and stolen glances. Louis realized how much he enjoyed spending time with Harry when they weren't fighting. He sighed. He was walking down a dangerous path here. He had his reasons in the past for distancing himself from Harry. He had to keep reminding himself of those reasons otherwise he would end up hurting.
