Things were awkward between them. Harry couldn't stop thinking of the kiss. That had been some kiss. He also didn't want to face Louis' family the next morning, especially his mum.

A soft knock on the door made them sit up in bed.
"Yeah?" Louis said loudly.

Jay poked her head inside.
"Good, you're awake. I just want to talk to you both."

Louis sighed.
"I'm sorry about yesterday, mum."

"No, I'm sorry. This will always be your home, Louis and I want you to be yourself around here. You should kiss your partner. It's perfectly natural and I want your sisters to understand that it doesn't matter who you love as long as they treat you nicely. I know that they're not judgemental. I have great kids, Just... maybe a little less tongue next time?" Jay said and smiled in amusement.

"Mum!" Louis grunted.

Jay laughed softly.
"Alright, let's put this behind us. Please, don't be embarrassed. That goes for you too, Harry. Breakfast is ready."

"We'll be down in a minute, and mum? Thanks. Love you." Louis said.

"I love you too." Jay beamed.

She walked out and closed the door behind her. Louis looked at Harry.
"Do you still wanna run away?"

"Pretty much but that was very sweet of your mum." Harry said.

"She's the best!" Louis replied.

"Yeah." Harry agreed. He really liked Jay.

They got up and got dressed.
"We need to do some laundry. I'm down to my last custom-made sweater from Niall." Harry said.

"Me too. Alright, grab your clothes. We'll swing by the laundry room" Louis replied.

They headed down to the basement and Harry started the machine. Louis mostly looked confused.
"When are you gonna learn domestic stuff?" Harry questioned.

"How about never? I can just pay someone to do it for me." Louis shrugged.

"Charming." Harry snorted.

"Like you spend all your free time doing laundry." Louis retorted.

"No, but at least I know how to." Harry replied.

"Oh, burn!" Louis laughed and snapped his fingers three times in the air in the form of a V.

Thinking of it, Louis was a bit flamboyant. Harry had no idea how he had missed that. His stomach twirled. They kissed yesterday. He had Louis Tomlinson's tongue in his mouth. It felt like a feverish dream.

They sat down at the kitchen table. All four of Louis' sisters were staring at them with huge grins plastered on their faces. Harry immediately blushed.
"Oh, sod off. It was just a kiss!" Louis said sounding irritated.

"One you both seemed to enjoy very much." Lottie teased.

"Yeah, you totally forgot about us." Fizzy said.

"Girls, stop teasing them otherwise Harry will be too embarrassed to ever step foot in this house again." Jay said as she came over to pour hot water into their cups.

"True that." Harry grunted.

"Noooo! We like having you here, Harry!" Daisy immediately said.

"Yeah, we've missed you, Harry!" Phoebe chipped in.

"Thanks, I've missed you too!" Harry beamed. It was nothing but the truth.

He glanced at Louis. He had an unreadable facial expression. What was going on in that head of his?
