Scaramouche pov:

Childe was sleeping on my shoulder and I also layed my head on his, it took a while to get to school since it was a rainy day so we had technical difficulties getting to school. We arrived after 20 minutes eventually though.

"Psst, childe" I nudged childes head with my shoulder gently to wake him up

....

"Chiildeee!" I nudged it a little harder

"Eh- h..huh?" Childe got off my shoulder looking around

"We're at school, come on get up"

"Ohh..yeah" childe said almost unconsciously

Childe let go off my hand and got off the bus without even grabbing his backpack...

"This dumbass" I grabbed his and my backpack and I heard the others laughing from behind, so did keaya, I just hope he dosent stay with us today

We all got off and we all went our separate ways to our classes, I placed my bag down and childes waiting for him to arrive

"Goodness where is he?" I said as I tapped the table, we still had sometime before classes due to some students having to dry up from the rain and some students being late cause of it. So I looked around for him

I looked around the school till I entered the bathrooms and I saw childe there washing his face

"Yo ginger there you are" I said walking up to him

"Hi scara!" Childe said as he stopped leaning on the sink

"Just what we're you thinking leaving the bus without grabbing your bag!? I had to do it for you!" I said putting my hands on my hips

"Hehe..sorry I don't really ever know what I'm doing when i wake up"

I sighed, me and childe heard the announcement from the principal through the speakers

"Students due to the heavy rain today everyone will be going home early at *:** ** please make sure to remember and or inform your parents and busses" then the announcement shut

"Amazing! I'll get to go home early" I clapped my hands and looked at childe who looked dead ass confused

"Umm..you good?" I said tugging his sleeve

"....did the principal grow up or something? Why does her voice sound more mature" childe asked looking at me

"....pfft..PFFFT AHAHAHAAHAHA" I burst out laughing as childe flinched

"W-W-W-WHAT!? WHY ARE YOU LAUGHING!?" Childe stuttered through his words due to his shock

"DID YOU ACTUALLY BELIEVE PAIMON THAT PEBBLE WAS THE PRINCIPAL!? AHAHAHA" I held my chest as I started laughing more at childes face

"SHE MADE IT SOUND BELIEVEBLE THO WHAT?! AND HER COWORKERS? THE TWINS?..."

"AHAHAAHA YOU IDIOT! The real principal is *snort* principal Jean!" I said, oh my god this guy is so stupid

"JEAN? THEN WHO WAS PAIMON AND THOSE TWINS" childe yelled out leaning down aggressively

"Paimon and the twins are just her coworkers, principal Jean was away and asked if one of the twins could take over her place for a bit but somehow paimon managed to take her place!"
