NICHOLAS POV
I was back there. Back at home. I immediately had felt a rush of sadness. My parents sent me to the Shadow City & it hasn't even been a day before something happened.
"Why ? Why did you send me here ?", I spoke even though I knew I wouldn't get a response. I sat on the ground, keeping my eyes closed as I felt someone take a seat beside me. "戻りたいですか？" (Do you wish to go back ?)
The voice. That voice was not one I knew. I just assumed it was my mother, but this was a male tone. Certainly not my father. "Oh, you heard me ? I am just complaining..." The person next to me let out a small chuckle, "I am sorry. However, it is destiny that you entered Hill Stone at the time you had."
"It is ? Who are you ?" The person sighed as his eyes looked up at the moon. They were a light lavender that seemed easy to lose yourself in. "Watanabe Enmei, god of the moon. I never intended for you to struggle with this."
"苦労？何に苦労していますか？" (Struggle ? Struggling with what ?) It was a simple question, but I could tell his answer would be one I couldn't fully fathom to comprehend. "Yes, struggle. You are struggling with things completely out of your control. With fate..."
"So I really can't avoid this, can I ?" Enmei nodded as he finally looked at me with an undistinguishable emotion in his eyes.
"It's time to wake up."
