After the game, in which Slytherin had lost—I wanted to check to see how Zander was feeling.

But I was with Bex, and that wasn't an option.

Bex was annoyed that we hadn't won; which made me giggle. She seemed to be into this, which made sense since she used to be on the team.

I then suddenly remembered that I had left my Charms book in class— And I had a
quiz on Monday.

I told Bex that I would just see her back in the dorm before exiting the swarms of students, cheering for Gryffindor.

The game Quidditch seemed quite hard, and dangerous actually. I didn't want to admit it, but Malfoy actually seemed better than Bells. He was quick and on his feet, or broomstick, and was extremely focused.

I didn't even know why, but my eyes were mostly drawn to him—Perhaps it was his skill.

But he was still a shitty person.

I walked into the halls, my heels clicking against the tiled floors. I pushed open Flitwick's classroom, noticing it was empty.

I spotted my book on my desk—A relieved sigh escaping my lips. I grabbed the book, about to exit the class; until I heard footsteps.

Crap.

I didn't know what to do, so I just ran into the closet, shutting it before me, and staying quiet.

I felt my eyes widen as Draco was shoved in, his palms hitting the desk.

"Must you make a fool of me?" A taller man with long blonde hair asks smoothly; a hint of anger in his voice.

I felt myself gulp as his long, black cape swayed back and forth, pausing before Draco. "I spent thousands of dollars on that broomstick and you still can't win?"

"I'm sorry," Draco said quietly, standing up straight. "I—"

He was cut off with a harsh punch, a shout escaping his lips as he fell to the ground.

It was his father.

I didn't even blink as the man kicked his son in the stomach, and then again.

"Pathetic." He growled, delivering another kick.

Draco let out heavy breaths as his eyes squeezed shut, hugging his body.

"Get up."

Draco's body shivered, staying on the ground.

"I said get—"

The man grabbed him by the collar, pulling him off the ground.

"up."

The boy let out a choked gasp as his father punched him in the jaw.
