4-Harvest festival

The music and the laughs and screams from the ride made my smile go up. My mother took me one when I was little. We ate so much that we threw up. I stood next to Wednesday as we waited for Tyler to stop talking to his dad. "Are you sure you can trust this normie?" She questions and I shrug. "He seems like a nice guy. Plus he helping us get out of here so I'm not complaining" I say. "Well good luck and safe travels!" Enid says going to hug us but Wednesday backs up and I hug her.

"Still, not a hugger got it," Enid says and I nod. She walks off and waves bye one more time. I look at Wednesday. "Let's get out of this mother fucker" I say smiling. She nods and we walk off. We walk up to a booth with panda plusses and I look at Wednesday. She shakes her head. "No," she says and I look at her. "Pleaseeee, Wednesday it's a panda I beg of you!" I say and she sighs. "I would win it for myself but I don't have good aim," I say. That's a lie but I don't care I was Wednesday to get it for me.
"Lock me up now," she says finally giving in. She grabs a dart and throws it at the balloons and I smile. Xavier walks up to us. "Geez, you get any better you'll be taking home a whole pack,k" he says I smile. "Pandas don't travel in packs they prefer solitude" Wednesday says.

"He,y Nora wanna go on a few rides with me?" Xavier asks and I look at Wednesday. "Only a few please plus if we separate Weems won't know who's going away and you won't leave without me," I say and Wednesday nods. "Sure!" Just as we're about to leave Tyler walks up to us. "Hey Tyler," I say and he waves. "Should we go?" Xavier questions and I nod. "I'll see you!" I say and Wednesday nods.

I walk off with Xavier and Tyler and Wednesday talk. "What do you wanna do?" Xavier questions and I shrug. "I've only been here once so," I say and nods. "How about we get cotton candy?" He questions and I nod. "This was my mom's favorite thing to eat when we went to a festival or a carnival," I say as the guy gives me cotton candy. "Do you've been to one of these?" Xavier says I nod. "Once, but my dad came back and we never went since," I say looking down. "Oh," Xavier says.

"Oh, how about we go on one of the rides now?" I question and Xavier nods. "Sure!" "What about the Ferris wheel?" He says I nod. "Sure," I say I finish eating my cotton candy and we go up to the Ferris wheel. The line wasn't long so got on quickly. "I have a question," I say and Xavier looks at me. "You don't like Tyler do you?" I say and he gives me a look. "Your right I don't, how'd you know?" He says I make eye contact with him. "The way your emotion changes. Your posture. The way you act" I say and he nods.

"How many times have you been here?" I question. Looking down at everyone. They look so small. The lights and the music. Which you can barely hear. Makes it even better. "Not much only if my friends go or if it is mandatory," he says and I nod. "I see Wednesday!" I say pointing at her. Smiling. "Are you and Wednesday siblings?" Xavier says I shake my head. "We might look alike. Hell, we even have braids in our hair. But no. We just grew up together" I say and he nods.

"What's your favorite thing to do?" He asks. I look up at him. "I don't know read I guess. Give me a book and I'm lost" I say. We make eye contact again and I look away. "You?" I ask and he smiles. Try not the blush Nora. "DO NOT BLUSH NORA OH MY GOD WHY DON'T YOU LISTEN TO THE VOICE IN YOUR HEAD!!" "Uhm draw I guess," he says I look at him. "Could you draw me something?" I question and looks at me. "Well not right now but maybe when we go back," he says and I sigh. "Right...when we go back," I say.

Guess I'm not getting that drawing. I look back down to see Wednesday and Tyler wandering around. I guess we have to go. The ride slowly goes back down and I and Xavier talk a little more. Get to know each other. When we get out Wednesday walks up to me. "We have to go," she says and I nod. "Well it was nice hanging with Xavier, but my mother here wants me back," I say he smiles. He notices Tyler and stops smiling. Well, see you back at Nevermore. He says before he walks off I grab his arm and kiss his cheek. "Bye!" I say and we walk off.

"What was that about?" Tyler questions and I roll my eyes. "None of your business," I say and he walks up next to me. The fireworks start and we walk to a car about to get in but Wednesday stops. "Before we leave I wanted to give yall this," he says handing us files. "It's your father's case for when they were at Nevermore, thought you would want them" he says and I nod. Then we meet up with the guys who Wednesday beat their ass. With bats.

Tyler grabs mine and Wednesday hands and he runs off. "We can lose them in the crowd!" He says and we run I follow Wednesday and Tyler behind them. Suddenly we bump into rowan. Wednesday falls and Tyler catches her. "Another vision" I mumble. When she comes back she runs after rowan. "WEDNESDAY!" I yell and run after her. I follow her into the woods. "Rowan wait!" She says and rowan groans. "What do you want?! Why are you following me?!" He says. "I don't have time to explain but you're in danger," she says and rowan smirks. "I think you've got ot backward," he says and throws her against a tree. I pull out my wand. "Drop her or I will hex you!" I yell and make my wand fly out my hand.

"How?! With no wand" he says. I put out my hand. "You're the one who's in danger!" He says to Wednesday. "What are you doing!" She days. "Saving everyone from you!" Rowan says pushing her more against the tree. Wednesday looks at me. I run to get my wand. Before I could hex him a monster grabbed him and threw him. "Wednesday!" I scream and she falls. I help her up and the monster claws rowan making blood go everywhere and killing him" I scream and grab onto Wednesday. The monster looked back at us and growled and ran away. I ran to rowan and Wednesday crawled to rowan.

The paper he had falling onto him Wednesday grabbed it. I look at it and she hands it to me. I was shaking bad still trying to believe what just happened.

We went back to Nevermore. I took a shower and changed. Wednesday was looking at the picture when the crystal ball went off. Her parents started to talk to her but I blocked everyone out. I can't believe I watched someone die right in front of me. And that monster. What was that? It had no skin. Its eyeballs were huge. I don't even know what to say. I grabbed a pencil and started drawing. When I stopped it was the monster. Wednesday came up to me and shut my notebook. "Don't show that to anyone" she said and nodded. I got into bed and slowly fell asleep.
