We walked into Zed's home and the interviewer sat down by the table while Addison, Zed and I stood next to her.
"We've found your application persuasive" the interviewer said as Zed's dad pour her some type of drink into a broken teacup. "Well I'm just doing my zom-best, uh zombie best" Zed joked nervously and I mentally faceplamed myself at his joke
"Uh, our best biggest concern is that you guys can turn into monsters at anytime" the interviewer said "yes, we are monsters but completely safe. Zombies eating brains uh ha, thing of the past" Zed said "and the wolves can control whenever they wolf out just like how Zed can control his zombing out" I said
Addison then puts her hand on Zed's back and a blue spark appeared around him causing him to shock "look at that! We have electricity" Zed said "I've must have rub my foot on the carpet" Addison said as they awkwardly laughed
'That's weird I could have sworn that spark looked like the aliens spark" I thought but was pulled back to reality when the interviewer spoke "despite being a zombie, how would you positively impact mountain college?" the interviewer asked
"Despite!?" Addison said and I put my hand on her shoulder to calm her down but I got shocked when I touched her and I pulled my hand away quickly while groaning with a bit of pain.
"Uh, that is a fair question um you know what I bring to the table is-" Zed said but was interrupted by being shocked by the blue spark again and he starts to zombie out a bit "you okay there?" The interviewer asked with a bit of fear
"Yeah, Uh great. Just..just give me a second to..I just need to use the restroom real quick" Zed said as he ran to the kitchen "that's the kitchen" Mr Necrodopolis mouth to me and Addison and we gave the interviewer a awkward smile before we ran after Zed
"What happened?" Me and Addison asked in unison "I don't know. I just lost control" Zed said and Addison touched him then the spark reappeared around Zed causing him to zombie out again
"Addy it's coming from you!" I said "not now! I gotta focus!" Zed said trying to control himself and Addison touched him again causing him to fly against the wall "I'm sorry" Addison said and I went to help Zed up
"Wait, it's your powers! You're alien powers!" Zed said "I have their spark!" Addison said "I knew it! I told you it would have taken longer to affect you since you're half human!" I said excitedly
"Addison Rosalind Wells you are an alien!" Zed said excitedly "I am!" Addison said excitedly then she hugged Zed which cause the spark to appear, sending him off against the wall again and I ran up to Zed
"Is everything all right in there?" The interviewer asked "yes! We're fine!" I yelled as I helped Zed up "I can't wait to tell the aliens at the cheer off tomorrow. My mom's gonna freak out. She has no idea" Addison said as she went to touch us but we stopped her
"Please stop!" Me and Zed said in unison hold ourselves away from her "I'm sorry. I'm trying. I really am" Addison said then suddenly she accidentally blasted us with spark, sending us right out of the kitchen door
Zed then started to zombie out and my eyes started to glow green but I managed not to wolf out as I tried to keep my magic under control. "Zombie!" The interviewer shouted as she ran out of the house
"No, no, no, no, no! Wait, wait, wait!" Zed said as he turned his Z-band back to normal and I calmed down just enough for my eyes to go back to normal while Addison ran to us with gloves on her hands
"I'm sorry!" Addison said apologetically "don't be" me and Zed said in unison as we ran after the interviewer "wait! Please!" Zed said as we ran out of the house and everyone stopped to look at us as I stood next to Addison
The interviewer turned to face Zed and Zed turned to look at me and Addison and we nodded at him
Zed: I know that I may be different
Who that's exceptional isn't
We have a spark that can change things
It's not a curse, it's amazing (Zed sang and I smiled at him proudly)
Zed: I'm Exceptional Zed
And so are all my family and friends (Zed sang pointing to all of our family and friends)
Zed: We're artists, athletes and activists
Who always give it our best
We don't need to pretend
'Cause we won't ever fit in
And we're not just awesome in spite of that
We take pride in that instead
We're all exceptional
When Zed finished singing the interviewer's face softened "we'll take that into consideration" the interviewer said and Zed nods as she started walking away
I walked up to Zed and put my hand on his back "you did you're best. Now we just have to hope" I said and Zed smiled at me. We then turned to the crowd as they all smiled at Zed
"Thank you all for coming I really appreciated it" Zed said and everyone came and hugged him one by one then started walking back home
I was about to leave with Addison and my parents until I saw Wyatt and I sighed. Addison then put her hand that was covered by gloves on my shoulder and I looked at her sadly before we headed to the car to drive back home
