"Well, hello father." Chasity said, grinning, showing two sharp K-9s on both her top teeth and her bottom teeth.
"Chasity, in case you're wondering I didn't tell Ty." Sky told her, not at all scared by the K-9s. He'd been bitten by dogs, cats and Ty.
He figured that last one was pretty rude, but in his defense, it was true!
"Wasn't asking, you can tell him. I just got a little moody after you asked..." She trailed off. "Uh, anyways. You're not gonna like what I have to tell you."
Sky stiffened. I'm gonna die.
"I found out who Flame was. Is?" She muttered the question to herself. "Flame is... uh, well, remember how Flame mentioned Ty being put under?"
He nodded, his shoulders slightly relaxing. "Yeah. Why?"
"Describe what Flame looked like and what Ty looked like."
"Well, they're both the same height and build. If I had to guess, they'd be the same weight as well." Sky froze. "No..."
"Unfortunately, it's true, father." She said, a soft tone underlining her voice. "Ty is Flame, he's not even aware of it."
"I guess you're affected by this as much as I am, huh?" He chuckled humorlessly.
"I should tell you now, the agency's slowly being shut down, dad'll remember and start to serve it on his own free will." Chasity said sadly, frowning.
"Ty wouldn't..." Sky started to say, attempting to convince the both of them that what the half-blooded vampire was saying was false. "He couldn't..." He tried to search for the words, finding none.
"I don't want to believe it either. This war needs to end, regardless of how long it takes. More and more of your people would be fighting for the enemy. Dad wouldn't be able to stop himself." She paused, letting the meaning behind the words sink into Sky's skin. "I'm able to stop myself from serving those... bastards."
"What bastards?" Ty's voice suddenly asked, making Sky jump.
"The ice cream bastards are gipping people." Chasity lied.
Sky studied her face, no quirks to indicate that she was lying. Practice make perfect, Sky figured.
"Bull. Complete and utter bull. You're lying, I can tell." Ty said.
Sky couldn't understand how Ty could tell, if he didn't know that Chasity was lying because of what they were talking about there would've been no indication that she was, in fact, lying.
"Okay, fine. Ya found out I was bullshiting you. I'm not putting it past you." She stated rather calmly, looking right in Ty's eyes. "You can also take the contacts off, those colored contacts are itchy, trust me, I know."
Ty did so calmly, two crimson draconic eyes peered out where the formerly dark purple ones were. "You found out, 'grats." He said sarcastically.
"I actually didn't, I knew for a long time." She said, matter of factly. "So, you wanna know what we were talking about, right?"
"That'd be nice."
"Okay, long story, well, it started out maybe about an hour after our little run-it at the alley," She explained as Sky tuned out, thinking about how Flame was so different from his "awake" self.
"...and you know the rest." Chasity said, Sky tuning back in.
"So, who is Flame's identity anyways, you didn't mention."
"I left that part out on purpose, only because you wouldn't believe me if I said it,"
"Believed you're Sky and my daughter, didn't I?" Ty said, slightly frowning.
"Flame is..." Chasity paused. "Flame's you, Ty."
Ty visibly froze, his hands making their way up to the brown hair, grasping the strands in obvious panic. His crimson eyes changed to an electric blue, his hair becoming intangible blue flames.
He brought his hands down, blue flames lingering on his hands. "H-how...?" He looked at the blue flames as they trailed back up to the larger amount of flames. His electric eyes looked horrified, widened as if the orbs were dinner plates.
"Ty, look at me." Sky said. Ty continued to look at his hands in horror. "Ty," he said somewhat more forcefully. "Look at me,"
Ty wrenched his attention away from his hands. "I..." He let out a shaky breath. "I almost killed you..."
"No, I refuse to believe that it was you." He said sternly.
"I agree. That wasn't you." Chasity nodded.
"B-but..."
"Nope! No arguing! Not you, case closed. Everyone's happy." Chasity ordered.
"Yeah, now shut the hell up, Ty." Sky said, moving to hug Ty, feeling the vampire relax under his touch was good enough for him even if it wasn't kissing.
Chasity laughed and joined the hug.
He felt Ty smile, the now-warm arms wrapped around the two. The arms regained their icey-cold feeling as Ty's eyes and hair returned to normal.
Sky didn't know how long they stood there for, he didn't care, if Ty was happy, he was happy, if Ty was anything but happy, Sky would try to make him be happy.
A feather slowly fell down onto Ty's head, a morning dove followed the feather.
