--This one's a long one, enjoy x--

"Alright Defending fighters, there is a mission out by the Border. We need to protect a military weapon from falling into the hands of the terrorists." The argent looked around at all of us in the room. She started walking back and forth while looking at her tablet. "For this mission we have selected 5 of you. From what we have information of, there aren't too many in the area or who are expected to attack. But we still need to fight strong and be ready since they have called for a Rainbow team. So for this mission..." She began, stopping where she walked.

By my side, Frost looked like she was ready to run to the mission the second her name was called or even if it wasn't. She kept flexing her hand in and out of a fist. I reached down to grab her hand and help with the nerves. Though her hands may be tiny, they are strong. She squeezed my hand tight with anticipation. She kept her hard, determined stare on the Sargent.

Part of me doesn't want her to say Frosts name. Not without my name. This mission doesn't appear to be much and there's been plenty she's gone on without me. But just lately... I can't imagine not being by her side when she's so far away on a mission. But I know I need to get over the feeling.

"We will be sending out; Ela, Doc, Kapkan, Echo and Frost. You will be heading out 15, go prepare. Thank you. Any further information or changes will be announced promptly."

The second Frost heard her name she managed to squeeze my hand even tighter while keeping her cool. Though I knew she was screaming inside.

We headed back to our rooms to gather what we needed. Rather than going to her own room Tina followed me to mine. The second I closed the door behind us, she started jumping up and down and letting our little joy filled squeaks.

"Oh my gosh! We're going out on a mission together! I'm so excited!" She reaches for my shoulders, using them to jump up in the air even more.

I let out a laugh, shaking my head. "Oh really? I couldn't tell!" I grab her waist and hold her in place on the ground. "Why are you so eager, huh?"

Frost looks up into my eyes, and simply just wraps her arms around me and lays her head on my chest. "Because, I just had a feeling we would be going on a mission together again."

I hug her back, pulling her in tightly. "Fair enough. Now go on to your room and get ready. I'll be out to the helicopter in just a few."

With a kiss to my cheek she ran out of the room.

...

I took my seat in the helicopter, my bag strapped down under me. I was expecting to see Tina already here in one of the seats with how eager she was, though everyone else but her was counted for. Another minute before she was late.

Suddenly, fast and loud footsteps of someone running towards the helicopter rang through the small tunnel leading to the outside.

"Ela!" Tina dropped her bag to embrace Ela in her arms. They quietly whispered something in each others ears. I went to get up to ask what took her so long, but then Mira jumped into the helicopter.

"Alright everyone! Let's go crew!"

Alright then, I'll have to her later.

Quickly everyone took their seats and strapped into their seats, ready to take off.

...

The second we touched down, everyone had their gear in their hands ready to go. I watched Frost as her eyes searched the surrounding area. Quickly she dropped her bag and threw on the coat that was wrapped around her waist. Normally it was hot in this area but right now around this time of the year it was colder than normal.
