I'm not going to lie. 

When I first met Kat I thought she was a buzz kill. Always so serious and taking control so everything would be perfect and organized. But honestly once you get to know her she's not too bad of a partner for this job, and as a friend.

 "Umm can I know who that was?" Oh yea, I forgot she was still next to me.

"Oh just my coworker, she's just stressed over some project we have to do" I piovet in front of her so I'm facing her, I flash her one of my famous smiles that makes her relax and ease up from the tension.

Works every time, I swear.

We walk towards another long hallway with no lights and is only illuminated faintly by the glowing moon that sheds light on the speckled gold, thats carefully decorated along the walls and furniture. No soul was seen in sight so it was safe to discuss the actual business that had to be addressed. 

"Soooo about your letters-"

"Shhhh!! can you be... a little more discrete about it?" she silences me as she frantically looks behind her in worry that someone may have heard them.

I roll my eyes.

"We're fineee, theres no one here. Uhh anyway about your 'letter'...., I uh But uhhh unfortunately I could not deliver it." I said kind of nervously, unsure of how she'll take it.

She looks at me so suddenly with sorrowness in her visage, her eyes sank with even all the glittery makeup plastered on her face. 

Now I feel real bad.

"Look, theres been a lot of traffic and congestion with the ships and you know these days with the ever so increasing prices of tickets haha" I try to lighten the mood abit. Welp it didn't work.

"No are you serious? I-I need to send that to my brother! I desparetly need to! I-I'll pay you double if you want!"

Shit. Now I feel even worse.

I'm not technically lying... per say. Well I cant deliver her secret letter cause of the new job I've taken up to deliver that 'ultra super-deluxe important message' with Kat to the end of the world, and ticket prices has been increasing. But I cant lose customers as well. So I thought with the big brain of mine that I can multi task and maybe be lucky enough to go through towns to deliver the secret messages as well. 

Well now I know that wont really work.

"Hey"

I trap her in the corner of a pillar, and her face flushes a bright red at the sudden close proximity between her and me.

"I really apologize with not being able to deliver the letter. I know it means a lot so you can refund me or-'

"It's fine!" She exclaimed quickly. "You can keep the payment and just let me know when you can send the message !" She smiles at me as her eyes flutter avoiding  my stare, blushing even more.

I sigh. I really don't wanna scam her. "No I cant do that, I really mean it. I'll just find you another private messenger that can do the job properly" I say as I step back, her flush fades as I've distanced myself and she's brought back to reality. 

"Um so if we're done with this I actually have to run to catch my ride like my coworker earlier had mentioned so um yea-" 

"Wait" she grabs my wrist and pulls me towards her.

Her puckered bright red painted  lips are suddenly extremely close to my face as she yanks me down to her height.

"Umm.. its getting late you know? It's pretty dark and i dont want you to go out there by yourself it could be dangerous so why dont you stay for awhile?" as she hovers her lips just above mines so invitingly where I almost forgot about Kat and the boat. 

But I really cant tonight. I promised kat I'll get on the same boat so we can continue our journey. Although I'll admit, this lady is very....beautiful, i would almost be tempted if it weren't for the little angel in my head telling me to 'just ditch her'.

I chuckle in gratidute "Thank you I appreciate that ms florance, but I really cant miss my boat-"

But she pulls me towards the dark corner anyway, farther from the bustling party and I find my self giving into temptation.

Dammit.

Whew this one was abit steamy lmao but I wrote this to show how Atlas is like, and how her and Kat's dynamic are going to be lol🤠
