Christmas Special

Its been a few weeks since you've joined the Straw-hats on their great adventure to become the pirate king. You guys had been anchored at a cold snowy island. Glancing around you were confused as to what everyone was decorating for.

As you looked among the many decorations you saw a lot of some old man. 'What's he got to do with their strange decorating?' As you turn around Usopp walks past with a big card board cut out, looking at it you immediately see a giant face right in your face.

Upon suddenly seeing it right as you turn around you yelped and jumped back. Nami giggled while saying "What's wrong y/n, did Santa scare you?" You looked at her puzzled "Who's Santa and why are you guys decorating so much? I'm confused?" You admitted while tilting your head.

After you said that the crew froze Luffy looked at you "What do you mean? It's almost Christmas!" While Robin just stared at you with sympathy realizing you haven't celebrated any holiday.

You looked towards Robin seeing here staring and asked "What? Why are you looking at me like that?" She gave you a small smile "Christmas is a celebration, a time for giving and not simply a day we exchange gifts. The spirit of Christmas is in the 'togetherness', it's in the thought to which you put into thinking about others, it's a selfless time, where we forgive, take stock of what's important and become 'better' versions of ourselves."

"What about that big old guy?? And the reindeer? Cookies, milk, paper cutouts, and these balls of white powder stuff?" You had a little understanding but being kept in the same place for years does something to a person.

"Ah right! The 'old guy' is Santa! He brings presents to everyone that's on the nice list. We leave out the cookies and milk for him to enjoy while he delivers the presents, the reindeer pull his sled he sits on, and the rest is just for fun since Christmas is usually during cold months." Nami informed you.

You looked at her with sparkles in your eyes although you kept a straight face. "Do you think I'll get presents from him?!" While asking her your tail accidentally popped out and started wagging.

'So cute, like a dog!' The crew thought. Nami pat your head while smiling at you "Depends on wether you've been naughty or nice." You frowned a little remembering what you did back at Jurassic world "I think I've been nice but what about what I did back at the island I came from? Does that put me on the naughty list?"

Nami glanced at the others for help "Of course not y/n it was all done in self defense! Therefore you're obviously on the nice list!" Usopp said loudly to try and cheer you up while others nodded agreeing with him.

You smiled "Alright, thank you for telling me! Now can we go to the island I wanna play in that stuff" forgetting about your tail that pooped away on its own.

Luffy, Usopp, and Chopper were also very excited to go play in the snow. And Luffy being the rubber man he is stretched his arms out to grab all of you and flung you to the island. "AHHHHHH LUFFYYY!!" Usopp and Chopper yelled the whole time they were flying.

You and Luffy were just smiling like idiots. The rest of the crew were still on the Sunny watching the four of you get dragged by the captain to play in snow.

Upon arrival, aka crashing into snow, you sat in shock not expecting it to be so cold against your hands. Of course you were all wearing winter jackets, with the exception of Luffy wearing shorts, you just didn't know you would need gloves if you wanted to keep your hands warm.

Luckily knowing you haven't touched snow before Usopp was able to think ahead and got gloves from Nami before they were flung to land, he stretched the opening and held it in-front of your hand, he said to you with a smile "Go ahead and put your hand in here, it'll keep your hands warm as long as they're not soaking wet."

You looked up at him and smiled a little while putting your hands in the gloves one at a time. "Thank you Usopp, I wasn't expecting this stuff to be so cold."

He blushed a bit while watching you "It's understandable, I mean you've never seen snow, have you? Considering how you were raised."

You looked down for a second but right back up to him "Yeah, but it's different now, I can learn a lot more than I did there." You smiled and held his hands.

But as all good things must, it came to an abrupt end, when he was suddenly nailed right in the face by a flying snowball. "Hahahaha, Usopp why didn't you dodge that snowball! Are you blind!?" Luffy yelled laughing.

After a small snowball fight between Usopp and Luffy which you and chopper stayed out of. It was starting to get dark which mean you were all getting tired. "Sanji can you start cooking some food for dinner?" Robin asked oh so sweetly. "Of course Robin-swan~" Sanji left to tel he kitchen right away.

Back on the deck you were sitting next to Nami covered in a thick blanket getting warm. "Hey y/n, did we tell you that sometimes Santa will come and visit people!" Nami looked at you with a smile and a finger pointing up.

You stared at her in disbelief "Like for real?" She nodded still looking at you. "Yup, who knows maybe he'll come here and give us a visit!" You started to smile like a fool "Do you think he can come to the Sunny and visit us! Will he bring us presents too?!"

She squealed and hugged you closer "Of course he'll come and maybe he'll also bring presents! You should smile more you look so cute!!" You blushed a little with a blank face.

"Alright dinners finished come eat! Nami-swan, Robin-Chan, and y/n-swan~ I made your meals with extra love~!" Sanji yelled while holding the door open.

After you all are you began to become anxious about the man Santa coming to the Sunny hoping you were good enough to receive a present. You were wrapped up in the thick blanket again beginning to doze off. Seeing as you were falling asleep the crew put their plan into action going into the boys' room while the girls wrapped random gifts they think you'd like.

All of them exiting the rooms they put the gifts into a giant bag that Usopp held while dressed as Santa. They all went to the deck where you were after plugging in the Christmas lights.

"Y/n wake up! Look Santa's come to visit and I think he has something for you!"

Almost instantly your eyes snap open glancing around. Eventually you spot the man dressed in red immediately you hop up and speed walk over.

"You're Santa? Why do you you smell like Usopp? And not to mention your nose is like his? Ah! I'm so sorry! Welcome to our home!" You began to tilt your head before realizing it was probably rude to compare him to someone you know.

He laughed "Hohoho! It's not a problem (Y/n)! No need to worry! Anyway I have brought you all gifts!!" He said happily.

He slams his big red back down and bean to pull out colorful boxes. Then you read one that had your name on it. "Ah! Here it is! (Y/n) this one's for you" he said with a big smile.

You looked in awe even if it was a fairly small box. You looked up confused "What do I do now?"

Nami sat beside you "Tear the paper off the box, then open the box, and your gift will be in there."

You began to tear the paper seemingly gentle before reaching the plain brown box. You made a claw form on the tip of your finger and cut the tape.

Inside the box that was previously cutely wrapped was a cuter stuffed (F/A). You gently picked it up and held it infront of you. "It's... it's so cute.."

Luffy and Chopper joined up on the other side of you looking down at it "What are you gonna name it!?" Yelled Luffy.

You stared at the stuffed animal before deciding "I think I'll name it (A/N)." You said with a light smile.

And finally it was time for Santa to head off you have him a hug and said thank you before retreating to the girls room.

You began to snuggle into your blankets for warmth and reached out for your stuffed animal. And as every day is bright and every night is dark.

You fell asleep feeling at home.
