Y/n's POV:

I was getting ready for my visit to Fuegoleon sama's base, yesterday went by pretty quickly I had to go to the market because there wasn't any pen and paper here and I wanted to write letters to Sato-san I wanted to tell him everything I know he would be very happy and proud of me knowing that I got into a magic knights squad.
One thing that made me a little worried that captain yami didn't even talk to me it's not like he talks to me a lot or anything but he at least changes a few words with me here and there but yesterday not even a single word it's like he was mad at me for something but I noticed he didn't even talk to other members was he in a bad mood did something happen that he couldn't tell us?
I just hope he's okay

I changed into a white dress that fell just above my knees it was cotton in fabric best for this hot weather the dress fits really nicely around the curves of my upper body I paired it with my usual black boots, honestly I just prefer boots because I fly all the time and normal slippers slip away when I fly in high speed it's so annoying it has happened so many times I lost count so I switched to boots tight and secure plus it goes with almost everything
I took a final glance at myself in the mirror fixed my necklace a little which was covered by the fabric of my dress and headed downstairs

When I came downstairs I saw Charmy eating as usual
Asta was sitting with Noelle chatting about something and Captain yami sitting on the couch smoking and reading newspaper again as usual.

As I was making my way out Asta took notice of my moving figure
Oh y/n are you going somewhere?
Is that a date? Noelle teased

Guysss stop it's not a date it's more like a meeting

Good timing Finral open a portal for us said captain yami
He quickly did as he commanded captain yami entered first and I gave Finral senpai an apologetic smile before entering the portal.

We reached the base in seconds thanks to Finral senpai's magic

A boy about Asta's age approached us
