The Letter

It's been like this for the past few years, i still longed for Master... I can't seem to move on..

"My Lady!!!"

I stopped strumming the harp when Xiae called me rushing not minding how people complain about how she should be walking inside the mansion.

"Xiae? It's been awhile.." I greeted her when she was on my side trying to catch her breath.

"Yeah.." She could barely utter.

When she recovered, she stretched her arms and bend her body backwards looking like she was exercising.

"It's been how many long..? Ah... A year" She said and sat beside me.

"You finished your mission?" I asked curiously.

She's be gone for a year for her mission, while i stayed here for three years serving that jerk..

"How's Lord Asmodian?" She asked and started to play the harp.

I rolled my eyes as she asked that, that Lord Asmodian has been out for 4 months now! I had to take care of the papers that was left behind! He's such a jerk!

"Still on bad terms i see.." She slowly nodded her head. "Well the years are still long, what can i expect?" She said and shrugged.

"He left his position just so he could mess around in the mortal world" I just said and enjoyed the scenery of the cheery blossoms that was almost everywhere in the mansion.

"Oh i heared about that" She laughed. "That's why i'm here to help you!" She said and stopped playing the harp to hold both of my arms.

"Really?" I beamed.

"Yes! So you can enjoy some quality time for yourself in the mean time!" She answered.

"Ah.. No. I don't want to burden you Lady Xiae.." I said.

She just laughed while holding her stomach.

"You don't have to worry. I'm a grim reaper, there's nothing a reaper can do" She winked and pushed me away. "Now go, go to a place where you always wanted to go. And here is my gate pass, with it you can enter and exit the mansion at will" She said and handed me her pass.

I looked at her eyes to see if she was joking, but she was really determained... I quickly ran to my room to prepare my clothes, I always wanted to go to town..

*tok* *tok* *tok*

I heared someone knocked, I stopped whatever i was doing to welcome the person who knocked.

"My lady, you have two letters" A co-servant said and handed me the letters.

"Thank you Precilla" I smiled and recieved the letters.

After she left, i went to sat on my bed and checked the letters.

I already know the one who it was from, and read it. Asmodian said he was going to return now from his vacation...

And the other one was... F-from Grandma... The Elder of witches who we all call grandma... She asked me to return right now, Maybe she already heared that her sole successor was dead..

My hands are shaking right now, i can't process.. I need to choose between the two, should i go or should i not? Maybe returning isn't such a bad idea? Maybe master wanted me to return home... Xiae said she'll cover me up, i'll just need to return quickly...

After i decided, i opened the box that was my one and only property... It was my signature clothes, it was also a traditional clothe but it was spiced up by master..

I started to wear the clothe and tied the blue tassle my master gave me together with this clothe...

I smiled weakly and continued to prepare.

"Oho~ where are you going lady Leppiratte?" Xiae teased.

I didn't notice her entering my room...

"To my home.." I answered when i was done changing..

"You don't mean that home, right?" She was hoping for me to agree but she already got the answer when she looked at my expression. "No no Leppi, you can't.. The Lord will return, he might feel that you've escaped" She exclaimed.

Just as i thought...

"Lady Xiae! Lady Leppiratte! The Lord has arrived with a Lady!!" Precilla shouted in joy when she entered the room.

With that news, my body went cold.. It felt like a whole bucket of cold water was splashed on me... My heart hurts..

"Oh really?" Xiae raised on of her brows.

"Yes! Everyone is at the entrance right now! Trying to get a glance on the lady that the Lord is carrying on his hands!" She beamed.

By that, i dropped my golden hairpin which made a noise.. They turned to me with such eyes, i hate those kind of eyes.

"What?" I asked and grabbed the mirror, i just fixed my hair without tying it because there was no time. I'm sure that Asmodian will order me around again if he saw me... "I need to go now, Xiae.. Is there any other way to exit the mansion?" I looked at Xiae with pleading eyes.

"No... I'm sorry..." She just looked down.

"Maybe you can blend in with the crowds!! There's many people hovering the entrance! You can just wear a cloak and sneak out Lady Leppi!" Precilla suggested and handed me a cloak.

"Where did you get that?" Xiae asked pointing the cloak.

"Uh... Just a hunch, I prepared it because i thought Lady Leppi will need it with her vacation" Precilla answered. "Go now, The Lord sent me here to call for you. But you're my friend, i'll cover for you" She pushed me and Xiae...

When me and Xiae got to the entrance the place was swarming with servants, i could hear one of their conversation... It made my heart more havier... I just decided not to listen to it..

"Here's my pass Lord Pole, let her go out" I heared Xiae said to the gate guard...

I was busy looking at Asmodian carrying a girl, I couldn't see her face but i could see her hair color... It was a hair color more beautiful than mine... It was a color of soft pink.. While mine was black..

"Leppi!" Xiae exclaimed.

I looked at her, she pointing at my hair.. I took strands of my hair and that made me shake, it was slowly turning white! And my fox ears was showing..

I didn't notice that everyone was looking at us... Even Asmodian looking at us, with his usual cold expression..

"Leppiratte!" Asmodian shouted with full of authority.

I looked at Xiae and Asmodian back to back.. I couldn't control my body shaking..

"Let's go now Leppi! Before it's too late!" Xiae extended her hands.

I sowly accepted it and she started to drag me.

"Don't let her go out!" I heared Asmodian shouted but it was really too late because Xiae pushed me out which teleported me to the teleportation realm...
