This was literally the most boring mission possible. His first day off in 3 weeks and the hero commission wouldn't grant him and Ochako the same days off.
He hoped that she's alright. She kept zoning out. During dinner, mission briefing, it didn't matter when, she couldn't hardly focus and he knew she was losing sleep
"Ohayō" she's talking. This mission had been so silent. It had caught him off guard.
He smiled at her noticing the sunrise.
"Ohayō hanii" her cheeks flushed a bright pink. " You alright? You seem really out of it."" Yeah I-"
"Mind your conversations" the voice in thier intercoms rang.
"Apologies!" Mydoria quickly straightened his back. He began to laugh .Urauraka did as well ,catching his contagious laughter. He fell on to his back. He didn't know why it was so funny. Probably because of them both being slap happy with all of the sleep deprivation.
Urauraka fell on her back after losing her balance from her squat on the edge of the building. Mydoria quickly reached out to his side. Placing a hand on her back slowing her fall on to her back. As she rolled back ,he gently put her down. Still laughing she rolled on to her side, facing him.
Both of thier giggling came to an end. As green met brown eyes. And a sudden bright red blush began to grow on the two young pros faces.
He smiled. They were so perfect for each other. That was one of the few constants in his life since his time at UA. She was still the tough yet anxious and shy girl he had known. Sure the media had portrayed her in a false way just like him. But she was one of the few of people who had fought in the war with the villains. That hadn't became hardened and calloused. Sure she had become more mature due to the forcing of growing up quickly in thier teen years.
Mydoria had tried to return to himself. However after years of people going after him, he found it hard to be quite as positive. He still loved all of his friends, and he loved his family and girlfriend. But they were the only people he would talk to about anything.
He had become extremely with drawn and cold towards the media. He would hardly accept interviews. He would often flee the scene immediately after missions.
He had asked Ochako to refrain from publicizing their courtship. He was extremely anxious and nervous about some villain finding his personal life connections and going after the people he loved most. Before her arrest, Himikiko Toga had gone after his mother. Since then, he had done his absolute best to keep his private relationships well private. He had security placed all around his mother.
By no means did he not want to have all the girls in the world know he wasn't single. They had, of course, told all of their friends and family. Very proudly at that.
As he looked into her eyes, he noticed that her hair had fallen in the way covering a good portion of her beautiful face. He swept the hair from her eyes.
" Pro hero Deku? Uravity? Together!!"
Their sweet moment came to an end.
Oh, come on, now is really not a good time for the press to show up. He thought to himself as the reporter yelled at them from the ground to come down.
Him and Uruaraka both floated down to meet the reporter. He wasn't in the mood for another lecture about setting a good precedent from the hero commission.
" I have some questions for you guys.
Deku, how does it feel to be voted most likely to become the number 1. Hero? Even though you beat many of your known to be friends for that title?"
" Oh, um, well, I, I would like to believe that my friends are happy for me. I just, I mean, it's been my goal to be number one since I was little. And it's still a hypothetical title. I hope my friends wish the best for me, I wish the best for them." That was an awfully mean question. Deku sighed and smiled into the camera.
"Uravity, you two have been known to be very close friends. Do you wish the best for him?"
" Of course I do! " she seemed upset that the reporter would even ask that.
" Even though it means people place your hero skills to be below his?"
" I think Deku ku- Pro hero Deku is a good example of why you should keep trying when you fail. And he pushes other Pros to try harder." She spoke fast it was clear to Mydoria that she was pretty ticked off.
" How does it feel to be voted the 2 Pro Heros most likely to date each other?"
Mydoria began to blush.
" With all do respect ma'am we are on duty. Perhaps another time to answer your questions would be more appropriate." Urauraka began to sass the woman.
" Oh yes, of course, my apologies." The woman bowed and walked off, seeming at least slightly satisfied with the video she got of the happy go lucky, cheerful, Uravity losing her temper.
Geez, this shift had to end soon.

What was that? He had caught something out of the corner of his eye.
(A/N. Hey, sorry this took so long, I had a whole bunch of TA hours to fill before the semester ends. I also hit some serious writers block with this chapter just struggling to connect it to the rest of the story. I know it is a little bit of a different writing style. Idk let me know which one is better. I'll probably return to my regular plot heavy style. But hope you enjoyed the fluff!)
