"What?" I ask. I look out the window and stifle a scream. Walking down the street was a centipede at least a hundred feet long.
"Well, I guess we brought a friend from our dimension." Gareth sighs.
"Time to play exterminator." Rob smirks, pulling a canister, of what I can only assume was fuel for his flame thrower, out of his backpack.
"What about me? I mean, I have vital information about this town that you two don't have." They share a glance.
"Um I don-"
"If it's because you think I'm to weak to go up against that thing, I'll have you know I can handle myself." I growl. I hate being talked down to like this.
"Fine." Gareth sighs.
"But-" He pauses. "You'll have to arm yourself." I immediately think of my fencing foil in my room.
"I'll be right back." I sprint up to my room and grab my fencing foil from my closet.
"Ready." I also put on all the leather clothing I could find to make an armor of sorts. They both start laughing when I walk into the living room in my makeshift armor.
"Really." I say. "You two are sooo mature."
"Sorry." Rob snickers.
"Ok so here's the game plan. (Y/n), hack at anything on the ground, especially legs. If the thing's immobile, it will be easier for Rob and I to finish it off." I nod my head. It was risky but it was better than having the thing run around Seattle destroying everything.
"LET'S GO!!" I yell slamming open the front door. As soon as I near the centipede I realize hacking at its legs was going to be harder that I thought. The thing had tons of legs, and there was no space in between the legs. I think back to sixth grade science. Centipede's major weak spot was underneath them, the soft underbelly. I wait for an opening in the legs and sprint between them.
"Yo Rob! Have you seen (y/n) anywhere?" Gareth yells. I could barely hear him from under the beast.
"That's a negatory!" Rob yells back. What I was about to do was almost one hundred percent sure to get me killed but it was worth it knowing that I got to meet my idols and save Seattle. I reached the junction where the head and neck meet but before I could sink the blade into its neck I felt my feet leave the ground. I realize, with a feeling of sadness, that it's all over for me. Hopefully Rob and Gareth will find a way to get back to their dimension without me.
"(Y/N)!" I heard Gareth yell but it was too late, I was free falling without a net.
"It was fun guys. Thank you." I whisper. Then everything goes black.

I wake up with a start, my heart monitor beeping rapidly. A-a hospital? What? I was aching all over and I was exhausted.
"Thank god you're ok!" My brother runs in and hugs me.
"W-what what happened?" I ask, sitting up.
"You were in a bad car wreck and have been in a coma for a month." He explains, holding my hand in his. I feel tears form in the corners of my eyes. It was all a dream. I never really met Knife Party, it was all a dream. I start sobbing uncontrollably.
"It's okay." He whispers, holding me close.

I'm sorry the ending is so crappy.
