A Girl Of Worry And Woe

Xavier was walking through the woods on Sunday morning looking for something, No someone. No one had heard from Sybil in almost two days and everyone was on edge after Wednesday said she saw a monster attack and kill Rowan yesterday.

But that was proven wrong as he showed up in the morning was was told he was expelled and he was to leave before noon.

But that didn't help their case with Sybil, when Enid and Xavier had gone to Principal Weems after the festival she was quick to get the police involved with the missing girl.

The search was called off for the night but was to be resumed early the next morning.

But some of the Nevermore students took it into their own hands as the police weren't taking anything seriously after Wednesday's clame was proven wrong.

Colista appeared next to Xavier, "she's no where's on school grounds" Xavier looked over to her with a knowing look, "why do you think I'm this far fr-" he was cut off by Colista putting her finger to his lips to shut him up.

"Shhh- do you smell that?" Colista asked as she sniffed the air as Xavier looked at the Vampire girl weirdly, "uh no I don't, your the vampire here remember" he laughed slightly as she looked back to him and tightly gripped his arm, "Lista what the?" Colista pulled him as she ran towards the smell.

After a few minutes of Colista using her super speed they finally came closer to the smell she was chasing, they walked down a trail about five miles out from the academy.

Both the teens stopped about twenty feet away as they both saw what looked like a body further down the path.

Colista pulled out her phone and dialed 911 as Xavier rushed forward towards the body.

As he reached the dirty and bloodied body he heard some voices from the phone beside the body.

He was quick to pick up the phone and saw it was on FaceTime with Enid and a few others from school on the other side of the line, "Hello? Sybil? What's going on? Where are you?!" Enid practically yelled into the phone but quickly stopped when Xavier picked up the phone.

"Oh my god Xavier! Is she ok?!" Enid cried and Xavier nodded before hanging up the phone and shoving it into his pocket and kneeled over Sybil's body.

Sybil started to squirm underneath Xavier as sirens started in the distance, Xavier looked around the wooded area and noticed it wasn't that far from where Rowan attacked Wednesday.

He held her down gently as he didn't want her to hurt herself anymore then she already was.

He quickly moved and sat down behind her as he noticed she was barely wake and pulled her into his arms, holding her gently as they waited for the police and ambulance to show up.
