Oscar POV
I passed my friends says the occasional good morning or happy valentines. But goes you I just wanted to stay home today. I just reminded me that the one I love doesn't feel the same. I mentally sighed as I continued down the hall. I felt a tap on my shoulder. Turning I found my old friends Courtney and Annalisa standing there. Courtney was about 5'5-5'6, with long brunette hair and purple eyes, while Annalisa was 5'1-5'2 (same as me), with short-ish strawberry blonde hair and light blue eyes.
"Hey," Annalisa said.
"Sup," I answered playing it cool.
Courtney just shook her head. "Can't you two say more then that to each other?" the Brunnett asked.
"Ok, hello Oscar how are you?" The shorter girl asked me.
I rolled my eyes and said "if that's all you have to say then bye."
"No we came to give you these." The tall purple eyed girl said handing me a rose. The blue eyed girl did, too. "From you two?" I asked.
"Hell no. We're just the messengers. there from your secret admirers." The strawberry blonde said.
"What are their names?" I asked.
"Sorry that runes the mystery." Courtney answered.
"But if you wanna find out who they are read the cards that are attached real quick." The pale strawberry blonde said crossing her lithe arms.
I opened the one attached to the burgundy rose first. It said
"Dear Oscar,
I've loved you for years please be my date to the Valentine's Day dance this Friday?"
Then the other that was attached to the lighter red rose said
"Roses are red
Violets are blue
No one had a body like you. ^_- "
That one made me blush just skimming it. "So what?" I asked the two girls.
"Here's the deal, bro, both want you to be their date so which ever one you like best is your date. Just tell me or my BFF here and we'll let them know." Annalisa said brushing hair out of her eyes.
I thought I would be nice to find out who wrote them and maybe humor myself so I answered. "Which one gave me the dark red one?" I asked
"I handed you that one." Annalisa said annoyed.
"Then I chose that one"
"Fine. Oh and I forgot. Here." The blue eyed girl said handing me a small box. I opened it finding the ring I gave her when we were in 4th grade. "Thought you'd like that back since we hate each other." She said walking away.
Courtney sighed. "Have a good valentines, Oscar." She said before running after her shorter friend.
