As I throw the last dart towards the balloons that lined a wall, I finally hit a blue balloon. Alas, I can get something out of being here besides being a spectacle. "Bravo! Well done, especially for a guy of your stature," the guy manning the tent said.
I spat on the ground and began to crack my knuckles, "Oh yeah? You wanna see what else a guy my stature can do?" I smirked as this was enough to put a look of regret across his face.
After I picked put my prize, a stuffed dragon, I turned around and walked towards a cotton candy stand I feel a tap on my shoulder. I swivel around as quickly as possible, either after being trained of fearing the worst of shock that anyone would walk up to me, but who I faced left me in mild shock. I face the man I was staring at earlier, with two cotton candies already in hand.
"Hi! I- uhm- I noticed you were looking at me earlier. But ah- not to be creepy but I was looking at you too. I just wanted to ask if you wanted to share some cotton candy with me?"
I stare up at him with a sardonic smirk, how could he be so innocent? "Sounds lovely."
He led us over to a bench and then began to go off on a tangent, "You know, I picked cotton candy because it was my favourite as a child. I would cry everytime my parents wouldn't let me get it. Actually one time my brother just walked away from my family and got lost because he was embarrassed of me having a fit over cotton candy. It took us 2 hours to find him again."
I cleared my throat and his- whatever his name was- eyes widen realizing the tangent he just went on- "I'm so sorry, I didnt mean to go off kn a tangent and-" I chuckled and shook my head while holding my hand up.
"No, I just wanted to ask what your name was."
He began to blush, "Oh shoot. Yeah, my name is Gerard but my friends call me Gee."
"Well, Gee, nice to meet you. I'm Frank."
