DUKE 1: ALASTEIR VON ROSQUE

CHAPTER 7

"Alasteir please...can you atleast take me to my room?" Halos pagmamakaawa ko sa kanya, nagmamakaawa na ako ang unahin niya.

He just looked at me. His emotion became stern. Gone is the alasteir that was caring just a few minutes ago.

"Go back to your room, Lythe. I'll talk to you some other time." Malamig na saad nito.

Nanlumo ang katawan ko, feeling ko babagsak na naman ako.

"Ha! So the mask didnt even last five minutes. Where's the caring husband from earlier?" Blood scoffed animoy alam na niya ang mangyayari.

"Shut up. Escort her to her room." Saad na lamang nito kay Blood. Naging malamig ulit ang pagtingin nito.

I Grabbed the hem of his shirt... "...please." I pleaded desperately looking down the floor.

"Alesteir?" Lahat kami ay napatingin sa nagsalita.

It was Sierra. from the second floor she looked down at us.

"Sierra. What are you doing here?" Tinabig ni Alesteir ang kamay ko na nakakapit sa damit niya at agad na pumunta sa kinaroroonan ni Sierra.

My chest tighten, when he again...choose her.

"Did I came at the wrong time? My bad. I just wanted to visit my cousin and see if she's ok. I heard that she was missing and wanted to make sure that nothing bad ever happened to her."

Bullshit. She never cared for me, not once. Kahit noong bata pa kami lagi na niya akong inaaway, laging inaagaw ang akin. At ako naman tong si tanga na nagpapa agaw.

"She's fine... lets go back to the visiting room." Saad ni Alesteir.

"I kind of wanted to go to your room Alesteir... the visiting room...doesnt suite me." Saad ni Sierra. Nanlaki ang mga mata ko sa hiling niya.

Alasteir's room.... somewhere I havent even been before.

Its a room that was off limits to me...his wife.

"Sure."

I Chuckled in disbelief, of course he would say yes to her.

I was about to have a mental breakdown when Blood grabbed my arms and pulled me away from that situation.

"Lets go my lady."

I Just nodded. "Wait! Lythe! Are you really ok?" Narinig kong pahabol pa ni Sierra.

BLood was walk-running towards the direction of my room when I halted, she looked at me with confusion.

"Blood.. I want to go to our house." Mahinang saad ko dito.

"House of Brionne my lady?" She asked in surprise. I nooded.

"I just missed my family." I said but I know it was a lie.

I Just dont want to be in the same house where my husband and his mistress is in the same room.

Blood seemed to get my intention, agad kaming umikot at bumalik sa kung saan naroon sila Alasteir.

Parehong nagulat si Alasteir at Sierra sa pagbalik namin ni Blood, ngunit nilagpasan lang namin ito at dire diretsyong lumabas ng mansyon.

"Where the hell are you going?" Rinig kong inis na tanong ni Alasteir.

Hindi ko siya sinagot, bagkus ay dire diretsyo lang kami ni Blood palabas.

Halata sa muka niya ang pagka gulat sa hindi ko pag pansin sa kanya.

Kahit ako nagulat sa mga aksyon ko e, I usually still answer him despite of how hurt I was. Ayoko kasing isipin niya na galit ako, I want him to know that I will never get mad at him kahit anong gawin niya, hindi ako nagagalit.

But this time.... something changed and I don't eve  n know what it is.


Nang makalabas na kami ng Von Rosque mansion, iniwan muna ako saglit ni Blood upang kunin ang kabayo niya na sasakyan namin papuntang Brionne Mansion.

ILang segundo lang ay dumating na si Blood na may dalang kabayo. Inalalayan niya ako sa pagsakay at sunod naman siyang sumakay sa likod ko.

WIthout hesitation, we left.

Bahagya pa akong napatingin saglit sa Von Rosque Mansion.

"Good for you my lady, I hope you could leave him." Saad ni Blood, hindi na bago sakin hindi gusto ni Blood si Alasteir para sakin.

"You know I love him Blood.... I cant leave him." I mumbled.

She just tsk at me and didnt say anything more.

My family's house is just 20 minutes away from the Von Rosque.

The Brione is a family of a Marquise, sa ngayon ang kuya ko na ang nagpapatakbo ng bahay at mga business namin simula ng mamatay ang magulang namin seven years ago ang kuya ko na ang tumayong patriach ng Brionne.

"Kuya Seer!!" I shouted as soon as we arrive at the Brionne Mansion.

The Brionne Mansion... though its not as big as the Von Rosque, it can still hold its ground.

"Bunsooooooo!!!" Bahagya akong natawa ng bigla akong sinugod ng kuya ko at niyakap ng pagka higpit higpit.

Pinaikot ikot pa niya ako habang yakap yakap. Ohh how much I've missed him!

"Kuya nahihilo na akooo hahahha" Tatawa tawang saad ko rito. Ibinaba na niya ako habang tawa pa rin kami ng tawa.

"I'm sorry, I just missed you so much.... its been a while since you visited." Rinig ang lungkot sa tono ng boses nito.

Bigla naman akong na guilty, I should have visited more often, write letters more often and talked to him more often.

I was so caught up with making my husband love me that I forgot about my brother.

Kaagad ko siyang niyakap. "Im sorry...." naluluhang saad ko rito. Hinalikan niya ang tuktok ng aking noo.

"Don't cry Lythe, kuya is always here for you. Ang pangit mo pa naman umiyak." Natatawang saad nito.

I Pinched his waist "ahh ahh araayyy!"

"Mas panget ka. Tara na sa loob at ipagluto mo ko. Na miss ko yung pasta na lagi mong niluluto."

Bigla naman itong sumeryoso. "Yeah we should go inside. We have a lot to talk about."
