i can't help but shake from tonight's events. i was taking my nightly walk in the woods when i heard something following me. it was to dark to tell exactly who or what the figure was. that was until i saw it's beady eyes and heard it's loud scowl as it kept chasing after me.

i ran till i was far away from the woods. i eventually felt safe enough to stop, needed to catch my breath. so here i am shaking with tears running down my face almost back to my school. it was way past lights out, i snuck out. i definitely regret it now.

i finally reached the school, i was now in the pitch black hallway still crying. i don't think i'll be able to sleep tonight. with a sigh i continued to walk.

looking down at my feet i kept walking now at a much quicker pace. i wanted and needed to be in my room. will i get in tr-. my thoughts were cut off when i ran into something. that something immediately placed comforting arms around my body in a hug.

"shh are you okay, what happened" i looked up to see xavier, my boyfriend staring worriedly back down on me. "there's a monster" i managed to choke out. "a monster?" he questioned. i nodded and hugged him back after realizing i've been standing uncomfortably in his arms.

"are you okay now" he rubbed my back and placed a small kiss on my forehead. "i think so" i whispered still in shock. "you wanna sleep in my room tonight?" xavier asked more like a statement. "yeah" i accepted.

"i'm not gonna let anything or anyone hurt you remember that" he whispered as we laid in the comfort of his bed. "i'll remember" i said turning on my side to face him. "i'm so lucky to have you" he said looking at me lovingly. "no. i'm beyond lucky to have you" i cuddle more into his arms.
