Toby McDonough had first heard of Cimorelli back in 2010, when he saw their cover of "Baby" by Justin Bieber. Since then, he's gotten all of them to follow him on Twitter (when he made one), and he's even best friends with one of the girls. He met Dani in 2012 when the girls performed with Ryan Beatty at the Roxy and his family was taking a vacation in California. Nothing special, really.
Except he might be falling for one of the other sisters...

Meanwhile, in 2011, Lauren Cimorelli had ANOTHER person ask for a follow. She loved her fans, but it was getting a bit annoying when she sees nothing but spam in her mentions. So she tweeted out:
@LaurenCimorelli: No offence to anyone but I. HATE. SPAM.
Then she gets an immediate reply.
@tobymcdonough: @LaurenCimorelli same here, that's why i try not to spam when asking 4 a follow ;)
She didn't know if the boy was being flirty or just asking for a follow, so she followed him anyways and replied to him.
@LaurenCimorelli: @tobymcdonough only following you because you're not spamming :)
She somehow felt a connection between the two of them as she clicked his follow button...
But how can you feel a special connection with someone you haven't even met?
