High School Crush

Is it true?

*Lilly's POV*

I noticed the way Bella looked at him. Was it possible that she liked him? I decided to walk over and stop her from staring.

"Hey" I shouted in a cheery voice, making her jump.

"OMG Lilly! You scared me! Don't do that." She spoke quite harshly but I had just made her nearly fell over.

"Sorry. Only came over to speak to you" I replied.

"I know you did. Just don't shout next time." She didn't seem quite herself today.

I had known Bella since primary school and not once had she ever been edgy. At least not with me anyway.

*Bella's POV*

"Hey" I heard a voice shout next to me, making me jump.

I turned round to see that it was my best friend.
"OMG Lilly! You scared me! Don't do that" I shouted back at her. A few people turned round to look at us. I felt guilty after that.

"Sorry. Only came over to speak to you." I think I upset her with the way I spoke to her.

"I know you did. Just don't shout next time." I replied with a sad tone.

I hadn't been feeling myself recently and I think Lilly was starting to notice that. I was just on edge at the moment. I guess it was because my friends were starting to point out the fact that I was flirting with him. Was it really that obvious? Oh gosh. It's only very recently that we've become closer as friends. We talk every night and I talk to him at school. I think I was developing a bigger crush for him. Not now, not near the end of the year. I need to concentrate on my school work for my end of year exams, I don't want to be pulled down by boys.

He never really crossed my mind before now, I guess my true feelings for him were just deep down and I never realised.
