~Lilly's POV~

I knew that what Tasha said couldn't be true. So I decided to find out for myself. I messaged Jacob asking if what he said about Bella was true.

L: Why did you tell Tasha that you and Bella are too close to go out? Just out of interest.

J: I didn't?

L: Haha. Tasha said you did

J: Well I didn't the liar

I knew it! I knew she was making it up. There was no way he could had said that. How dare she? Especially to someone who trusted her with one of their biggest secrets. I can't believe she would actually say something like that to Bella. I'm so annoyed with her right now.

I screenshotted the conversation between me and Jacob and sent it to Bella so that she knew it wasn't true. I couldn't have her putting herself down about it.

~Bella's POV~

After Tasha told me that, I tried to avoid him as much as possible because I was so annoyed. I don't know why because if we never spoke again then I'd be the only one hurting. Because let's face it, he obviously doesn't like me that way. Just as I was starting to listen to my friends and believe that there was a chance he could've liked me. Then I hear that.

I received a message from Lilly. It was a photo. A screenshot of her asking Jacob why he said that to Tasha.
So he didn't say it? Tasha must've been making it up because Jacob wouldn't deny doing something. I can't believe it. He actually didn't say it. I'm so happy now I've heard that.

But what I don't understand is, why would Tasha do that? I trusted her with my secret. And then she lies to me about it. But the worst thing is, I actually believed her. I know I shouldn't have but I believed that Jacob said that. I'm so stupid
