CROSSING PATHS

"Lyric honey what do you want for breakfast" i asked, "pancakes mommy"
Well I guess I should introduce myself my name is Ally I live in San Diego I have a 3 year old daughter named Lyric, I'm a photographer, and that basically sums up my life, boring I know.
"Pancakes are ready Ly" I smile as I see my little girl run into the kitchen. "want syrup?" I questioned, while she nodded her head vigorously. "so what you want to do today babe" Ly seemed to be thinking very hard which made me a little scared. "lets go to the park!!!!" She screamed. "okay finish up then go get ready" she quickly ate the rest of her pancakes and ran upstairs. I grabbed her plate and put it in the sink and went to go get ready myself.
(Skipping this process)
"Ready Ly" I screamed, "yes mommy" she yelled back. I went downstairs where she was waiting and grabbed my keys, and we were out the door. "buckle up okay" she groaned "yes mommy"
" Little girl don't you dare groan at me or we will go back inside" she quickly put on her seatbelt, and we started the ride to the park.
(Skipping car ride)
We finally arrived and Ly ran out of the car, I quickly gathered my bag and took a seat under a tree across from where Ly was playing on the swings. I took out the book speak and continued reading "higher higher" I heard Ly exclaim, I looked up and noticed a man pushing her on the swings, I quickly got up and went over to them. "excuse me what are you doing?" I asked the man, he looked up at me and to say he was cute was an understatement, "oh uh she looked like she needed help so I decided to help her" he said shyly. I nodded.
"Sorry didn't mean to uh um uh" he stuttered. I giggled a little, he looked up at me and a look of confusion washed over his face. "it's fine I just needed to know who was with my daughter" he smiled. "so what's your name?" He asked "I'm Ally, and this is my daughter Lyric" "I'm tony" he said, hmmm Tony nice name.
"Well I gotta go but can I maybe have your um number" he asked shyly. I smiled at that, "yeah it's xxx-xxx-xxxx" "thanks talk to you later, bye cutie" he said to Ly. He smiled at me and started to walk away.
"Come on Ly time to go home" she got up and ran to the car. the whole car ride home I couldn't stop thinking of Tony.
