Kahdeja POV
February 2nd
📍Mexico, Isla Mujeres"Happy Birthday Kahdeja & Kadeem" Mom embraced us both with a big, warm hug and a kiss on both of our cheeks.
"Thank you, Mom," I smiled and kissed her red cheeks she kept crying about Dad's condition.
"Respect mummy," replied Kadeem.
Somehow she stopped today because of us we planned on celebrating anyway but before we were going to visit him.
We haven't left his side, he was shocked that he settled down. Or even had a twin daughter and son.
Flashback in Jamaica
Dad eased up off the hospital bed, just staring at Mom. Uncle Brandon explained that they were married for years now. And another important family information.
"Brandon...me win," he says admiringly at Mom.
We all laughed at that statement, I have heard stories of how fun my father was I just never seen him crack a joke.
"Yeah Breda, cya believe yuh no memba G yuh memba yah old man tho?"I chuckled at that. And he laughed too.
"Mi a 34, mi all look thirty-four,".he said looking at himself in the mirror beside the bedside table.
Author's POV
"Happy Birthday, guys I'm sorry I don't remember you"Killian stated sadly as he opened his arms. The twins ran over and dove into their parent's embrace.
"Thanks, Dad," they said together. After a quick three-way hug, Deja kissed both of her children on the lips and smile.
"Where is Daniel?"Kahdeja questioned as the waiter walked past her with a tray filled with red wine glasses.
"In his room, by the way, he said he had something to show you," her mom said back to her with a small smile.
Killian suddenly felt a headache coming, "That name rings a bell me just cya put my finger on it" Everyone suddenly pretended as if they had something to do.
"He's your nephew that's why, you and him talked before this happen" Deja sadden at the noticeable lie, she didn't want her children to be dissatisfied on their 2nd birthday together.
Kahdeja stepped away from them after excusing herself, the yacht party was only family and close friends.
Ajay was included in that friend, he and Killian went to school together so he remembered him.
