(🔥🍜🐉) Sickness

Mei had been coughing all day. The sickness had caught and corrupted her.

So here she was. Sweat dripping down her forehead, regardless, she kept herself wrapped tightly in a blanket . Sniffling with a tissue box placed infront of her.

Her eyes were pink and poofy, cheeks and nose stuffy and red. Mei was- horrifyingly allergic to something around what she had been with earlier. Which most likely lead to this.

Mei was about to reach out and grab a tissue when her best friend Mk came in!

"MEI! i'm so worried about you- what happened? Did those villain jerks poison you or something!?" Mk's frantic questions were cut off as a redhead popped into the room. Eyes narrowed with irritation as his hand held a small dose of medicine.

"Shut it, Noodleboy. I doubt Dragon Horse-girl needs more trouble in her hands." Though his words seemed harsh- the other pair could tell it was just his way of being worried.

Mei glanced at the medicine, the hairs on her neck immediately standing up as she remembered the putrid taste it had.

"No way! I'm not taking that! Get it away from me!" She hissed out- followed by an aggressive cough that shook her whole body, and a vicious dad-sneeze.

Mk and Red both narrowed their eyes at this. Looking at eachother and nodding as they realised what they had to do.

Mk lunged first. Pinning Mei to the bed with his other limbs as he used his hand to open her mouth. "DRINK THE MEDICINE MEI- YOU NEED IT!"

Mei let out a choked wail as the medicine was shoved down her throat by Redson. Who pushed Mk back when they both moved away.

Redsin looked smug, Mk looked concerned and apologetic- and Mei looked..

/pissed/.

She was about to open her mouth and say something when another cough shook her body.

Grumbling in defeat, the ponytailed Dragon-Horsegirl flopped onto the bed. Shifting to stare at a wall. If she couldn't nag them, then she'd be petty!

"Silent treatment for both of you! Since you want to do your weird Medicine Voodoo crap on me!" Mei huffed out. Her body shuddering with sickness as she spoke. Tone still rasped with cough.

Redson was the first to respond. Rolling her eyes and sitting on the edge of the bed. Keeping their distance, ofcourse. "You can't be mad at us for taking carw of you, imbecile."

Mk rolled his eyes immediately. "Coming from you, Arsonist? That's hypocritical." He grinned in satisfaction at the new nickname.

In which- Redsons hair set fire, a flustered.. or embarrased? Expression sliding across his face as his cheeks flushed slightly.

Mei was watching the two bicker momentarily, before a sly grin crossed her face. And she spluttered out viciously before moving in to kiss both of their cheeks.

Mk wailed and immediately pushed away from her- toppling off the side of the bed and hissing. "NUH-UH! NOT WITH THAT SICK MOUTH OF YOURS!"

Redson immediately blocked the kiss with his hand, expression completely flustered at the blunt attempt and offer, though his tone held tight defiance. "For once- I agree with noodlebrain. You will /NOT/ get me sick too!"

Mei wasn't burst into a cackling fit of laughter, which was soon taken over by coughing again. As she had laughed far too hard for comfort.

Mk immediately sprung up from his spot and looked at Mei in concern. Red had lowered his hand as well. Looking confused and concerned. Mk was also about to place his hand on Meis back to soothe her when-

When she tackled him.

Now Mk and Mei were wrapped in blankets. Sickness ranking through their stomachs.

"Idiotic peasants- the both of you should be absolutely grateful that I, the o'great Redson, am here to take care of you! Infact- you're lucky to be in my presence at all."

This was when the Redhead broke into a deep explanation as to why they shouldn't be all touchy touchy when sick, and why Mei was dumb for doing so.

She then turned to scold Mk for allowing Mei to get that close and cuddly with him, and when Mk was about to share, Reds eyes slitted and he shot the other male a horrifying glare that made them clamp their jaws tightly shut.

The demon cleared their throat, tail lashing out viciously behind them as their ears ruffled from frustration.

Half-joking frustration. That neither Mei or Mk took seriously. Infact, shot eachother devious little glances, and Mei made a silly face. Causing Mk to burst into laughter.

"You little- I SAW THAT!" Red clenched his fist in rage, hair bursting in flames.

Mei immediately wailed- flinging her arms dramatically in the air- surpressing a sneeze, and trying to escape from the death grasp the demon had somehow gotten on her.

In the end, Redson ended up getting sick too from not isolating himself from two sick people. And now they had to look after eachother. Occasionally forcing One another, Mainly Mei, to take medicine.

"I hate the both of you." Redson scoffed out. Arms crossed over their chest as frustration bubbled in their mannerisms. The two baffoons before him should've listened to his explanation and then maybe all of them wouldn't be so sick right now!

Absolutely petty, filled with a twinge of salt too, he turned to his side and ignored their giggles at his joking words.

Redson could never truly hate the two, even if he tried. So when he turned, his shoulders slumped in relief when he heard the two giggle, when he heard them recognize that it was only just a joke.

If they hadn't taken it as a joke, and Red would have accidentally hurt their feelings- he would never forgive himself.

Well whilst Redson was dozing off, Mk and Mei were challenging eachother.

" I bet I'll recover before you!" Mk competitively cackled out- glowering at his temporary confidence.

"Oh yeah!? Well I was sick first! So I'll totally recover first too!" Mei contradicted. "You and the loser over there are gonna recover /last/."

Mk gasped and growled in defeat, monkey tail bunching up and fluffing up in dissatisfaction. "Fine! You win this time. But I ' ll win the next!"

And with that, began another challenge. For another day- for another story, for another time.
