Nightlight

Chapter 10

Sun's Pov:
  As the night guard took me back to the daycare I just stood there in front of the entrance of the daycare. I got inside, getting in before any of those bots were released. I looked through the net finding moon looking everywhere looking for something, I went through the slide and made my way to my little area where I was going to be sleeping at. "Sun! There you are I was looking for you! You were gone all day I thought something happened to you!" Moon said running straight at me. I just walked away not wanting to deal with him, I was exhausted and a little disappointed that we didn't find Gregory. He stood in front of me trying to block my way so I would say something, but I just pushed him in the ball pit. "Hey! What was that for?" he got out and I made it inside of my little area getting ready to sleep. "Knock, knock" he said as he stood in front of the entrance. I turned around and pulled the covers over me, I tried my best to ignore him until I felt him tap my shoulder. "Psst, hey sun are you still awake? I just wanted to say sorry and I want you to come back upstairs..." he whispered trying to turn my body so I would be facing him. "Are you still mad at me... what can I do to make you forgive me" I slowly took off the blanket off of my face. "Return every missing kid, and turn the Bunny lady in..." I told him he looked down knowing that it wasn't possible. "I'm sorry, but I don't know where they are at or who Vanny is..." he said looking down. After hearing that I got my blanket and got out of the play structure.

No one's Pov:
   Sun made his way out of the play structure leaving moon there. He turned around making sure he wasn't following him. Sun made his way to the ball pit and went to the deep end trying his best to hide himself from Moon. After a bit Moon got out of the play structure, the lights turned off automatically every hour. Sun had forgotten about that and got startled when all of the daycare lights turned off. "Oh no..." he got out of the ball pit sitting down on the floor trying to cover himself in the blanket. Moon noticed him hiding behind a play structure, he sat down next to him bringing him closer to him. He felt sun shaking under him terrified of the dark. "It's alright sunshine... I'm right here don't worry." Moon said rubbing his back to try calm him down. After a bit the lights turned on, Sun got out of his blanket having tear marks under his eyes. He got up slowly and stared at moon for a bit "thanks..." he whispered and soon left to his little area. Moon was a little shocked that he actually said something that didn't involve any of the horrible stuff that has been happening, he smiled knowing he was making some sort of progress and made his way upstairs.

Moon's Pov:
   When I went up to are room I gathered a few stuff for Sun to help him through the night. I went downstairs having a bunch of items in my hands, I made my way to Sun's little area. "Hi Sunny, I brought you a few items" I whispered to him but he just ignored me. I dropped everything down and started to set everything up moving a few things to make a bit of room. After a bit I was just about to finish until I heard him say something "What are you doing to my stuff-" he looked over looking at everything I had done. I was hanging up a few fairy lights to light up the room a bit, having a pack of glow sticks next to me to add a bit of color. He got near me and hugged me tightly, he looked up to me having tears going down his face. "Are you alright, did I do anything wrong if I did I can-" "No, I'm just happy right now..." he said having a big smile on his face, I hugged him back.

~small time skip~
   After a bit I had finally finished lighting up the place, Sun sat there looking at the changes I made. He looked very happy on how it turned out, it was getting late and we have work in 6 hours. I got the trash from the glow sticks we had opened and left it outside, "It's getting late I'm going now okay, goodnight if you need anything I'll be upstairs okay" I told him he turned around seeing me about to go. He came up to me and hugged me again "thanks so much I didn't really know how I was going to sleep in the dark" he pulled away from the hug, he was sitting in front of me since we couldn't really stand up in here. I got closer to him leaning down to kiss him, but he put his hand in front of my face "To early..." I asked him he nodded his head as a response looking a bit sad. I got out of the play structure, forgetting something I bought for him. "Oh I almost forgot to give this to you, it's a nightlight just in case if it isn't to bright in there" I told him handing it over to him. I started to attach the wire to my back until I heard him say something "Goodnight Moony..." "Goodnight Sunshine, love you see you in the morning okay" I went upstairs knowing he was finally warming up to me again...
