                                                      Pov Xavier

Summer vacation went as fast as you think it would have gone if you were being perpetually ignored by the girl you liked. Wednesday Addams was certainly different from all the other girls at school. He wasn't sure what drew him in but she was mesmerizing. From the dreary way she dressed to the monotone voice she used unless you caught her off guard then you could hear hints of emotions in the way she spoke. Xavier had gotten her a phone so they could stay in touch but eventually she stopped responding all together. It wasn't like she responded much anyways but it certainly made his day or night when she did. Once school was back in session Xavier walked through the entrance of the outcast academy incarnated. All he had to do was find the dorm he was staying in for these long nine months and hope he didnt get another crazily murderous murdered roommate like last year

It's almost like time stopped when he saw her. Enid was arm and arm with Wednesday who effortlessly let the werewolf drag her up the stairs. Xavier couldn't help but feel sad and relieved at the same time. She had come back to Nevermore but that didn't mean she hadn't ignored all the messages he had sent her wanting to check in and make sure she was alright those long three months. Making his way to the staircase he began to walk up the steps. "Wednesday!" He called out hoping to catch her attention. Once he had caught their attention, inquiring about her well being seemed to cause an unspoken conversation between the two women. Enid scampered off to her boyfriend Ajax the local stoner before catching her arm in his. The air felt so tense he couldn't help but clear his throat to attempt to make this conversation less awkward to catch her attention to show he wanted to talk with her. Hearing what she had to say about this supposed stalker made Xavier nervous she had almost been killed the year before and he couldn't imagine what this issue might bring for not only Wednesday but the other students.

When he had grabbed her arm she tried to pull away but he had no intentions of letting her go this time so he slightly tightened his grip and motioned to the top of the stairs with her phone. "Best to start where the case started" He mentioned and she seemed to pause before letting him guide her up the stairs. Once at the top of the stairs Xavier let go of her arm and held the black cellphone back out towards the gothic girl. "Do you remember if anyone was up here when I gave you your phone?". Wednesday could only look lost in thought at the question, no doubt trying to replay what had happened that day in her mind. "Not anyone I would recognize. There were so many parents and students walking around it could be anyone" She had responded in the same old tone she always used but she still looked lost in thought as she stared around. "Have they said anything else since they sent those messages to you?" he questioned as he reached up to play with the slightly thicker bun placed on the back of his head. "No but I'm sure that's because they are a student or parent. They wouldn't have been able to follow me without making it obvious". Xavier couldn't agree more Wednesday was too smart to simply be followed; she would sniff out the culprit in no time. It only took her a few months to figure out a case that was plaguing the town and save Nevermore from being ruined but at the cost of almost losing her life. The thought of her dying made his heart ache. "Maybe you should tell the Sheriff what's going on. Leave it to the professionals you almost died last time and who knows what this person or outcast is capable of". She almost instantly turned down what he was saying and Xavier wasn't surprised in the least. She was smart and capable which is why he liked her but it also made him want to protect her.

The two parted ways after discussing their next plans of action. Wednesday was going to go on with her daily activities while she waited for the stalker to make their next move. They had nothing but an unknown number and a few photos to go on and that certainly wasn't going to help either of them even begin to crack this case. It didn't take Xavier long to make it to his room it wasnt in the same place as last year but it was still relatively in a good spot. Not too far from the quad and only a brisk walk to his studio. His roommate was disappointing. It was Eugene. He was a good kid but his interests were different. Bees were not everyones cup of tea but they did save Wednesday last year and Xavier could respect that more than he would admit.
