Xiao x Kazuha

3rd POV
The gloomy grey sky cries as the sun falls asleep. Lighting strikes and thunder roars. A certain someone worries for his travelling lover. His slim figure stands atop the roof of the one and only Wangshu Inn as he wondered, I hope you didn't get drenched in this rain.

As if replying to his prays, he saw a fight break out in the distance towards Guili Plains. The oh so familiar Anemo cylindrical wall was created as it swirled hydro.

"Fallen leaves... adorn my night!" He who creates the wall shouts. Enemies dressed in the colours of the 7 elements with their backpack like belongings slashes as Kazuha skillfully dodges, right until the Anemo Skirmish pulls him in and knocked him back onto the floor and he hits his head on a rock.

"Argh.. stay focused.." He says to himself as his vision goes blur from the rain and dark as his consciousness slowly fades.

"Lament!" Another shouts as he jumps into the sky and plunge onto his opponents, swiftly eliminating the Fatui.

"You dare lay a hand on a civilian within the borders of Liyue.. You will not be spared." Xiao says as kills off the last of them.

"Hehe.. I knew.. you'd come.." Kazuha says weakly as he tries his best to stay awake.

"Hmph.. You're hurt. Don't talk." To which was responded with a slight chuckle, followed by his groan. "I'll take you to Bubu Pharmacy. Baizhu will heal you back to health."

"I'm fine-"

"Your head is bleeding, you're not fine. Don't exert your mortal body. You already can't live long yet you still- ... sigh forget I said anything." Xiao lifts Kazuha onto his feet as he swiftly makes his way to Bibi Pharmacy. The pair knows what Xiao was implying and continues their journey in silence.

Kazuha was taken in has he got healed up, whilst Xiao awaits for him outside with feelings of grief and guilt. Not long later, Kazuha came out and walks towards Xiao, stopping beside him, Xiao facing Bubu Pharmacy and Kazuha facing the opposite direction.

"If.. I'm too much of a burden.. we could always-"

"You're not a burden.. I just.. don't want to lose you.. Countless of lives has been lost, among those are whom I call friends. I deal in death, regardless of foe or friend, they could be slayed by me. And despite that.. these useless emotions will never fade."

"Hmm.. Perhaps our first chance encounter shouldn't have happened, that way.. you wouldn't have to lose me."

"Kazuha. Stop. Just forget I said anything. My way of words are too selfish. After living for thousands of years, meeting you has been the best years in my life."

"Heheh, and perhaps we shall meet again in my afterlife. But for now, I'd like to stay with you for a couple days. Why don't you bring me around Liyue sometime?"

"You- ah.. you can have my room in Wangshu Inn, and I'll make sure you'll get to see the sights."
