Now, it was Jesy's turn to drive. We all decided the night she came with us that she would help with the driving and everything, so that she wasn't here for nothing.

"Guys, I think we need to help her." I said while laying on my bunk. The guys and I were all laying in the back where there were 6 bunks, 3 on either side of the little isle.

"But what can we do?" Kelly asked, he seemed the most concerned. I mean, he had admitted to me that he liked her, and I could tell she liked him too. So him and I wanted to plan a little suprise for her. Leaving the boys in the back, I went and sat on the little stairs next to the driver's seat.

"Hey Jess." I said. She looked over for a second and smiled at me.

"Hey babe, what's up?" she kept her eyes on the road.

"We're making a little detour... Take this exit!" I yelled at her. Her eyes got wide, and sharply took the right turn.

"WHAT THE HELL!?" the guys all yelled in the back, a few crashing sounds traveling up to the front.

For the next couple hours, I sat in the front with Jesy, every now and then looking down at my phone to check the directions I had pulled up on the small screen. The drive was fairly easy, we mostly just went straight on the road with few turns. And we were getting pretty close to our destination. But as we neared closer and closer to the new, Jesy seemed to recognize where we were in Arizona. She looked hurt.

"I take it you know where to go from here?" I asked quietly, looking down.

"Why?" she asked me, almost whispering. I could see the tears forming in her eyes, but yet she focused on the road.

"You need closure. This problem won't go away until you confront it." I gently rubbed her arm. She stayed silent, but nodded. I just reached for the radio knob, turning it on, but keeping the volume on low. The first song that came on, I knew it related to our situation a little bit. It was Bloom by Paper Kites.

In the morning when I wake

And the sun is coming through,

Oh, you fill my lungs with sweetness,

And you fill my head with you.

Shall I write it in a letter?

Shall I try to get it down?

Oh, you fill my head with pieces

Of a song I can't get out.

Can I be close to you?

Ooh-oo-oo-ooh, ooh

Can I be close to you?

Ooh, ooh.

Can I take it to a morning

Where the fields are painted gold

And the trees are filled with memories

Of the feelings never told?

When the evening pulls the sun down,

And the day is almost through,

Oh, the whole world it is sleeping,

But my world is you.

Can I be close to you?

(Ah) ooh (aah), ooh (aah).

Can I be close to you?

(Ah) ooh (aah), ooh (aah).

[whistling]

Can I be close to you?

(Ah) ooh (aah), ooh (aah).
