Chapter 3
“Yep stay in here.” She guided me to a cement room. Then she opened the cover of a button on it was a yellow and black striped tape that said ‘causation’. And she pressed it.
“What is this for?” I ask hoping that it’s nothing bad.
“You’ll see.” She said while having an evil grin on. ‘Great!’ I thought ‘What have I got in to now?’ The door in front of me opened reviling a person; I couldn’t tell if it was a boy or a girl. So skinny, I didn’t know was possible. It had a hunger for I don’t know what. All of a sudden someone gave me a cup of water. Actually shoved in my hand.
“Want………NEED!” It ran after me its eyes glaring at me then flickered to the water. When it was about 1 foot away from me I jumped, flipped in the air, and then landed behind it.
“What did I just do?” I mumbled to myself. The odd part was that the water staid IN the glass, you know I thought gravity made it fall out. The lights went out.
“WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO DO TO ME?” I screamed. I sensed movement behind me and I did a round house kick to the head. Wait what is a round house kick? Anyways I heard a sickening SNAP!
“What did I do?” The lights turned on and the wacko thing was lying on the ground. It looked, broken. Well the only part was its neck, that was to horrible to describe.
I backed up, two men with suits and oxygen tanks on their backs came in and hauled whatever it was away. Cat came out, looking happy.
“This was to prove WHAT?” I almost was screaming. She looked taken back but answered.
“Making sure that you where you.” She mumbled. I through my hands in the air. My mouth opened, but I didn’t trust myself saying anything.
“Who was that?” When she didn’t answer I asked again “WHO was that?”
She looked scared “I-I don’t know!” I calmed down. I could see that she was relived.
“What’s with you? You seem uneasy.” I ask. She sighed.
“I guess I should tell, but I need to get the ‘OK’.” She grumbled something then walked out of the room. I went to a wall and slid down it.
“Why dose life have to be so hard?” I groaned.

“So can I?” She asked, hoping that she can.
“Only tell her some of her past. Not all.” He said, making sure that he was being serious enough.
“Like what?” She asks a confused look.
He thought then said, “How she did what she did, don’t tell her ‘bout me or the Class.”
Cat nodded. Then she walked out of the room.
‘Why did I get into this mess?’ he thought. He got up from his seat, 1920 wooden chair. Wood that no one would ever see again. ‘I’m such a geek’ he thought while shaking his head. He walked out the room, hoping that he did the right thing.
