Chapter Four: Friendship is Magic

[Episode 4: Presto Change-O]

All of us were at the cafeteria, as we watch Preston perform his magic trick.

"Ladies and gentlemen. Time for a moment of amazement from master magician Presto Change-O" Preston announced, he stood in the center of the cafeteria.

"Yeah, Pres!" Sarah cheered.

We cheered for Preston.

"It's a magic show." Brody whispered, looking at us..

"Let's hope this works." Sarah whispered.

"I'm excited." I whispered.

"Behold, an entirely empty hat." Preston said, he showed the hat.

Victor stood up from where he was. "Hold on there, Change-O." He interrupted.

Some of us groaned in annoyance.

"Let me see that hat." Victor said, he walks towards Preston and grabs the hat.

"Hey, you can't-" Preston tried to stop.

"Empty hat, eh?" Victor said, he pulls out a rabbit.

"A rabbit. Amazing. It's magic." Preston said.

Everyone at the cafeteria started booing at Preston, and some even threw trash at him.

Preston walked down from his stage with a disappointed look.

I was at Shop Class with the others, all of us were fixing Brody's Dad's truck.

Preston came in, Sarah gasped went over to him and asked if Brody is coming. Sarah brought Preston over to the truck, after Preston says no.

"Brody will burst his batteries when he sees this." Redbot said.

"He'll be happy." I said.

"He'll love it." Preston said, seeing the truck. "Now, listen to what I have to tell you, the strangest thing just happened."

"Start it up, Beau." Calvin told me.

"All right." I said, I went into the truck. Hayley puts her smoothie on the hood. "One sec..." I said, I tried to start the tuck but it made a weird note. "Cal, that's not a better note." I told him, as I got out the door.

"No." Calvin said. "Presto, do you mind passing me the wrench?" He asked.

"Beau, let me try." Hayley told me.

"All right." I said. I got off the truck, causing Hayley's smoothie to fall. The smoothie almost fell on Calvin, it stops mid-air.

"Uh... how did that happen?" Calvin asked, looking at the smoothie.

"I did it, that's what I've been trying to tell you." Preston said. "I stopped the drink, I can do real magic."

"Preston, real magic?" Sarah questioned.

"Really?" I questioned.

"Seriously doubt that." Calvin said.

"Oh, you doubt that huh?" Preston asked. "Release!" He shouted, and the smoothie falls onto Calvin. We laughed. "Now you doubt it?" He asked.

"Definitely not!" Calvin replied.

"That's amazing." Hayley said, her, Sarah and I help Calvin up.

Mick pulled Preston aside to talk to him. "Preston, question did these abilities started recently?" He asked.
