Bonding Time

"Caaammmmiiiiiiiiilllaaaaa!! Get your butt up!" Dinah yelled to wake me up. What day is it again? Sunday, right? All of us girls were supposed to go bowling for Fifth Harmony bonding time. I let the memory of last night when Lauren claimed she was terrible at bowling swirl in my head.

"Cam, really. I suck. It's so embarrassing." she said blushing. "awww" I said in an exaggerated reply. Lauren was too adorable. "Really Camila, I'm the worst." she stuttered with her words. "It's okay! I'll teach you!" I yelled cheerfully so the whole house could hear me.

I giggled as I sat up from my bed. I looked to my right to see Lauren putting on a gorgeous pink top. I was confused because Lauren always wears dark colors. She's so cute in pink.

I stumbled out of bed and into the bathroom. I looked pretty sexy if I do say so myself. I washed my face, brushed my teeth, and reapplied my everyday makeup. Glancing at my reflection in the mirror, I studied Lauren as she moved gracefully out the door. I snapped back into reality, remembering to brush my hair and get dressed. Some high waisted shorts and a top in the same vibrant pink as Lauren's. Now shoes.. Red converse were perfect.

"Cam, why are you wearing pink?" Lauren asked as I sat at the counter and ate from a plate of pancakes with a chocolate smiley face on the top that was waiting for me. "I dunno... You make these? They're yuuummmmyyyy." I made my infamous "Camila face" and giggled once again. " Well do you mind if we match? Really I don't mind." Lauren repeated herself a few times before I finally spoke. "No. Not at all! It's besties twin day I guess!" Lauren just looked at me, confused.

Soon Dinah, Normani, and Ally walked into the kitchen and noticed the food on the countertop. As they started to eat, I sat as close as possible to Lauren. She was sitting on the couch, reading another boring book instead of the fashion magazines we had bought to read on our free time. "Hiiiiii Lo!!" I shouted. Oops. Big mistake. Every single one of our group members brought their focus to us. I felt their stares on my body.

"Umm. Carry on! Keep eating before I eat your food for you Ally!" I laughed while I threatened the girls. "Oh really Cam?!" Ally challenged. I jumped over the couch, almost falling on my face in the process, and lunged for a pancake on her plate. I claimed it as my own by licking the chocolate syrup off of it. "well I'm done eating!" I said full of happiness. "oh now you're full. huh princess Camila?" Normani asked jokingly. I smiled the goofiest smile and they all laughed. The girls put their dishes in the sink and went back to their rooms. I sat next to Lauren again.

"I can't wait to teach you how to bowl!" I must really like yelling because I do it a lot. "Ssshhh." Lauren hushed my shouts. "You know I hate that sound Laur!" I yelled again. "I know you do but please be quiet while I read." she begged. "But reading's boring. You're such an old lady!" I teased. I couldn't stop giggles from escaping my mouth. "Cam.." Lauren pretended to be upset. "hehehehehhe" it was all I could say before Ally came back in the room. "OK Y'ALL WHO'S READY FOR FIFTH HARMONY FUN TIME?!" Ally sounded like a game show host. "Meeeee!" I sang as theatrically as I could. All the girls chimed in with me. We harmonized our me's all the way to the van waiting to take us to the bowling alley.

I sat in one of the back seats next to Lauren. I felt myself slowly drift off to sleep. About five minutes later I began to wake up but Lauren was stroking my head so I didn't open my eyes. "What's up with you and Camila? Friends? More than friends?" Dinah questioned. Normani cleared her throat. Ally's giggles stopped suddenly. I could feel Lauren tense up beneath me. "Well.. Guys can we talk about this later? Can you guys wait till Cam's not dead to the world so we can both tell you?" Lauren let out a nervous laugh at her dead to the world joke. "Okay! Whatever.. I still have to pee by the way.." Ally said smiling and turned to Dinah, starting a conversation with her. Normani spoke next "Wow you lesbians.. Haha just kidding! I love you guys!" Her laugh seemed somewhat insincere to me. Dinah seemed to care most about Lauren and I. "Whatever you tell us, we love you the same." she said while putting her hand on Lauren's free shoulder. Lauren let out a quiet sigh of relief.

The car rolled to a stop and I sat straight up. "HEY GUYS! No need to fill me in on anything! I was awake the whole time!! HAHAHA! Lesbians.. Good one Mani!" Everyone looked shocked, well, except for Lauren who was already laughing along with me. "Trust me. We'll tell you guys everything once we get inside!" I reassured them. They were still frozen in their seats. "C'mon let's go already!" I said eagerly, pulling Lauren along with me as I skipped out of the car and into the bowling alley. I looked over my left shoulder, tippy toeing so I could see the rest of the group hopping out of the van too. Ally, Normani, and Dinah all walked through the door. I stopped and Lauren did too. She looked as if to ask whether I was okay. I smiled saying, "I'm so happy we can tell them everything!!" and we walked off to the others.
