Chapter 5

Before we could both fall asleep we heard a knock on Kyles bedroom door.  "Hey Kyle I know it's late but can I talk to you?"

Just from the voice we both knew it was Leo. Kyle and I were both wondering what Leo wanted to talk about... especially this late and after we came from a party.

With a sigh Kyle got out of bed and went to his door to go talk outside with Leo. "Don't take to long." I told Kyle with a chuckle before he left.

Kyles POV
I was just getting comfortable with Harley when Leo called me. I made sure to talk outside of my room so Harley could get some sleep.

"So what's up?" I questioned. I noticed Leo seemed nervous and a little fidgety. "So uh I just wanted to say this so I could it off my chest and so I could finally get over it once and for all."

"What exactly are you talking about" I said with another light chuckle. I always found it funny that ever since I first met Leo he always got nervous and stressed over the littlest things. There was some quiet before Leo started talking again, like he was thinking if he should say something or not. "I... actually have liked- no loved Harley for the longest time.", "I loved her since before we became friends... when she started getting really close to you I got really jealous" he said with a soft look in his eye.

"Ok... I mean it's nice that you told me but if you loved her so much why didn't you get with her before you met me, or even gave me a heads up about it" I asked confused.

"Well when I realized that I loved her you guys were already together... so I wanted to respect you guys and let you be happy." Leo said with a sad smile.

I didn't know what to say. I mean yeah I did love Harley she showed me what friendship and love actually was. I guess I knew that maybe Leo had a little crush on her when we first met because I would always notice him with her, and would always give guys dirty looks if they looked at her funny. To me, it was honestly funny and cute that he would protect her so much, so I was surprised when they said they weren't dating.

"Alright bro well I guess it's good that you got it off your chest and everything but to be honest I don't know how to respond to that", " I know and I don't really expect you to but I just wanted to finally get over her that's all" "But just to make sure you do know that you can't get with Harley right?", "Yeah of course I know" Leo said with a low voice. "Well goodnight see you in the morning Leo" I said with a wave and a turned back.

Leo's POV
Damn I thought that if I told him that I like Harley I would no longer have feelings for her. But how could I ever get over her. I love that sparkle in her eyes when she's laughing or smiling. Or when she sees a cat or any animal she automatically goes to go check it out. What I mostly love about her is her kind heart and amazing personality. She makes me laugh effortlessly which not many people can do. In general she looks so beautiful with or without makeup. At the party I thought she looked so hot especially with that dress on. Wait- Leo what are thinking, Kyle literally just told you that you don't have any chance with her now. I kinda believe that but I saw Kyle look at other girls in a certain way that made my blood boil.

He should know how fucking lucky he is to be with Harley.

Back to Harleys POV
I was about to get up to check on them when I saw the door open. Finally I thought when I saw Kyle walk in. "About time... what were you guys talking about" I asked curiously

Kyles eyes widened but went back to normal. "Uh nothing much he was just asking me about some homework he didn't know how to do" "ohh ok, well come back to bed it's lonely without you" I smiled. I knew he was lying by the way his voice raised slightly.

Throughout that whole night I couldn't sleep and I didn't know why. I read earlier that if you can't sleep then that means someone's thinking of you. So that means that mostly likely Kyle was thinking of me in his sleep, or..... Leo?
