It has been about a week since Nat and maria adopted me and I'm starting to feel more at home now. As I'm laying on my bed I hear a sound coming from outside my door. As I focus more I come to realise that it's my moms. "you knock" I hear the Redhead say "Nat just knock" Whisper shouts Maria from the other side of the wall. "y/n sweetheart can we come in?" Nat knocks. "Oh yeah hey mama, come in its open!" I announce eager to know what my parents want.
"Good morning y/n how did you sleep?" maria asks softly whilst rubbing my back. "oh I slept great mom" I say with a fake grin on my face. I lied. I slept terribly But I couldn't tell them how I really felt because I didn't want them to worry.
"do you have any plans today?" Nat inquires with a soft smile painted on her delicate face. "I was gonna hang out with Wanda and Pietro. They were going to show me the city" "That sounds like fun kiddo. do you want some money?" asked the shield agent. "If you dont mind that would be great thanks mom." maria hands me $50 with a smile and Nat watches. "me and your mom love you kid. Stay safe and be back for dinner at 5 pm okay?" The red head says with a soft but sturn tone. "I love you too mama and I will I promise" I assure her with a reassuring smile.
Nat kisses my forehead and Maria gives me a short but heartfelt hug and with that they left the room to carry on with their day.
