"BROADEN YOUR MINDS." Professor Trelawneys voice echoed. "You must look beyond," She started to blabber on about the art of a crystal ball, so I zoned out completely. It was me Harry and Ron on a table. Ron lay on the desk, snoring while Harry sat there, staring at the smoky ball, almost falling asleep.
I felt a hard jab to my stomach and saw Harry and Ron sit up quickly, so I looked up and Professor Trelawney was making her way to our table.
"Now, what do we have here, hm?" She smiled.
"Oh, do you mind me trying?" A voice came out of no where. I knew it was Hermione, because she told me about the necklace Professor McGonagall gave her at the start of the year. Professor trelawney let out a hm and Hermione answered. "The Grim, possibly."
Professor Trewlawney takes a little jump back, but then grabs Hermiones hand. I look at Ron and Harry who were both bikering about how Hermione had gotten in. "M-my dear," Professor Trelawney started. "For the first moment you stepped foot In my class, I sensed you did not possess the proper spirit, for the noble art of divination."
Oh shit. She did not just say that to Hermione.
Professor Trelawney grabbed Hermiones hand and started examining it. "No, you see there, mm" She started touching and fiddling with Hermiones hand. "Eh, you may be young in years with a heart that beats beneath bosom. Your soul as dry as the pages of the books of which you so desperately cleave."
Hermione looked so pissed. She snatched her hand away and stood up, grabbing her bag. On her way out the class room, she flings the crystal ball off our table and storms out.
-HARRY'S POV-
There's no way Hermione Granger just stormed out of a class . I looked towards (Y/n) and Ron to see if they were seeing what I was. They definitely were.
Ron was now sitting straight with his eyebrows raised and (Y/n)'s mouth was parted slightly.
Professor Trelawney glances at the three of us one by one. "Have I said something?"
(Y/n)'s eyes meet mine and sends me an expression that tells me she doesn't know what to say. I didn't know either.
-TIME SKIP-
Divination class was over, and Ron, (Y/N) and I were walking down stairs since we had care of magical creatures class with Hagrid next. I was really excited. I bet Hagrid is too.
"She's gone mental, Hermione has. I mean, not that she was always manageable but now its certainly open for everyone to see that she's crazy." Ron rants. I was focusing on the crystal ball that was a few steps below us, but my attention was caught back to (Y/n) and Ron when I hear the thud of (Y/n) whacking Ron with her book.
"Shut up, Ronald. If someones crazy here. it's you." She snaps.
I stop walking but the 2 continued bickering and walking down the stairs not acknowledging me. A few seconds later, (Y/n) turns around.
