When in Disney

It has been 2 weeks now since we've been in the house. Vinnie and I have gone on a bunch of dates since and things seem to be getting more serious. My favorite one was when we went to a fun little amusement park with go-karts and mini golf, we had gotten kicked out because we were goofing off so much. I just have so much fun with him and there's never a dull moment.

Today he told me that he has a surprise for me and that I should dress up but wear comfortable shoes. I had no idea what he was planning but I got ready and walked upstairs to meet him. He told me I looked beautiful and opened the door for me to get into his car. I was asking him for hints on where he was taking me, it felt like the first night we met when he took me to the beach. But now I feel like I really know him as a person and like him even more than I did that night. He obviously didn't give me any hints so we just talked about random things. He tried to explain to me what NFTs were but he made no sense so I just laughed at him the whole time. I like to make him frustrated because I think it's funny when he gets mad. I start to see signs and I immediately know where we are going. I don't want him to think I know so I stay quiet trying not to show excitement. He pulls into the parking lot and finds a spot, "so have you guessed it yet??" Sarcastically I respond, "No idea I'm lost." He shakes his head laughing and grabs my hand, he starts running over to the gates. We wait in line anxiously waiting to get in. Some nice old lady scans our tickets and says, "Welcome to Disneyland!" We start making a plan for what rides we want to go on first, I remind him a few times that we have to get churros too. We start out with the Pirates ride that has a nostalgic smell to it, from there we went to Haunted Mansion then Splash Mountain.

We used the fast pass for a lot of the rides with long lines which made it easier to do more. The day had gone by so fast and before we knew it, it was already dark out. Vinnie insisted we have to watch the fireworks because it's a tradition. We went and got some churros first because you can't do Disney without them. Then we found a pretty good spot that is excluded from people where we can still see the sky. A few minutes go by and the music starts. We see the first explosion go into the air. It was gold with a little bit of purple in there too. I look over at Vinnie, "I think this is my new favorite day. I've had so much fun, thank you for everything." He puts a little smirk on his face, "well the night is not over yet Hibba." I ask jokingly, "so you mean there's more?" He looks at me and smiles, "Well would it make it more perfect if I asked you to be my girlfriend? Officially?" My eyes got wide and my heart started beating really fast, oh my God I should have guessed it. I nod my head, "Vinnie yes, of course!" I pull him in and kiss him while the fireworks continued to fly into the air behind us. Nothing could be more perfect than this right here right now.
