The End is Near

Finally, the time had come, we arrived at the party. Zoe was right there were people with cameras surrounding the whole entrance.

Vinnie is the first one to get out of the limo with his friends and then Zoe and I are last. We walk out and see lights flashing around us but I just kept my head down and walked through. That was fun I felt famous. The inside is big with a stage where the DJ is and a bar section on one of the sides. There is also an upstairs that has a balcony going around the stage and dance area. Zoe said she was going to grab us drinks really fast so I stood next to a table by the bar to wait. I looked around and didn't recognize most of the people here and then I realized I already lost Vinnie in the crowd. Zoe came back with two blue drinks in her hand she told me they are called AMFs. We downed them as fast as we could and went onto the dance floor. At this point, I would say I'm pretty drunk, I was about to call it quits on dancing but then Monster came on. I felt an arm grab me and turn me around, I thought it was Vinnie so I pulled him in for a hug. I yelled over the music, "I'm so glad you found me, it feels like I haven't seen you all night." While still hugging he says, "I'm glad I found you, let's dance." I realize the voice is not Vinnie's so I pull away and see Jack's face. The music is so loud that I don't want to yell again or explain to him that I thought he was my boyfriend. I decided that I will dance until Nicki's part is over then I need to get some air. Jack and I were rapping together, "Okay, first things first, I'll eat your brains. Then I'ma start rocking gold teeth and fangs. Cause that's what a motherfuckin' monster do" Our rapping was interrupted by someone yelling. Someone shoved Jack's back and he tumbled onto me causing me to fall. My ass was so drunk I didn't even try standing up. I just laid there with my eyes closed for a second until I started to hear Zoe scream, "VINNIE STOP" I lift my head up to see Vinnie punching Jack. Jack starts to make his way over to me saying, "Can you worry about your girlfriend instead of me bro? Look at what you did." Jack gets on his knees over me to see if I'm okay. Vinnie kicks him right in the stomach and screams, "get up pussy!" I get up before Jack does, "Vinnie what are you doing? He has done nothing wrong, you need to calm down." He shakes his head, "Stop lying to yourself, I want you both out of here now." I help Jack up and I take one last look at Vinnie, he almost looks evil with the way he is looking at me. I didn't realize he even had that kind of anger within him. We go out the back to avoid the paparazzi from bothering us, I start to feel tears form in my eyes. Jack notices and tries to comfort me but I don't want it right now. I just got kicked out of my own boyfriend's birthday party. I hear my phone buzz in my back pocket, I think it's Vinnie calling to apologize but instead it is Zaynab. She never really calls unless it's important so I answer, "Hey Zay, what's up?" I hear a sigh come from her end, "Hibba will you sit down for a second, I have to tell you something." Fuck, I sit down on a bench near us, "Okay I'm sitting, what is it?" She finally lets out, "Someone died."
